Additional info & updates

At the beginning of this cycle, I said to myself, either I'll eek in this year, or I'll take the June LSAT and reapply. As has become evident, I am not eeking in this year.

Decent Ivy GPA plus pretty awesome softs does NOT compensate for a middling LSAT score.

I thought my top UG school, great recs, and work experience would compensate for my middling score. Guess they only care about one thing. I'm still officially waiting on schools but I know what the answer's going to be! See you next cycle...

Glad that you have a year to prep and get into the school you really want to. I'm still kind of shocked that you didn't get into one school though. Good luck next cycle! PS what if Northwestern takes you off the WL? Would you go there?

Well, I took an LSAT prep course, and took the June test. But I'm not so certain I improved my score substantially, if at all. I seriously HATE that 10 hours of my life decides so much. Meanwhile, 7 years of undergrad, grad school, and work don't count for much. Enough venting. Next year, I will apply earlier and ED at Northwestern. What about you? -mimesis
