Additional info & updates

Scholarship money is over 3 years
3 LSAT scores - 159,159,162

1/13 - Email acceptance from Rutgers-Camden

1/20 - Thick white envelope from Rutgers-Newark. Same scholarship $ as Camden, but lower GPA required to maintain same amount in 2nd and 3rd years.

1/23 - In at Kent by email. 3 for 3 - very exciting.

1/26 - In at Denver by email. Finally notified complete at Colorado. The email said they might not have a decision until late may - wow.

1/30 - Kent scholarship info came seperate with snail mail acceptance letter. Interesting choice - either accept $10k/year with chance to lose it without maintaining a certain GPA, or accept $6k/year without any strings. Literally gambling with my scholarship money.

2/9 - In at UConn! Acceptance came via regular mail. This was an exciting one.

2/12 - First rejection. Hastings by regular mail. Fully expected this one.

2/13 - NYLS acceptance by regular mail. Scholarship is $30k in the first year, fully renewable if place in the top 15% of the class. Drops to nothing without a minimum GPA of 3.1

2/14 - First waitlist. Tough one. Temple via regular mail.

2/17 - Rutgers-Camden increased their scholarship offer to $10k/year by a letter in the mail.

3/2 - After a long gap, another rejection. Maryland via regular mail. I'm surprised how many schools are left that I haven't heard from yet. I'm getting a little anxious.

3/3 - I called Brooklyn to check my status, and the person tells me that they hadn't sent out the letter yet but its a waitlist. Just like that. That was a blow. I also received the Tulance acceptance by email which was nice. I may want to give them another look.

3/5 - Waitlisted at Fordham via status checker. Looks like my options in NY are getting slim, but this was probably the best I could hope for here.

3/6 - Tulane acceptance came in regular mail with nice $$. I heard the school was generous and it definitely helps me make my decision. $20k/year depends on maintaining a 3.0, otherwise reduced to half. Very appealing.

3/16- BC rejection finally came in the mail. Not sure what took them so long.

3/20 - American waitlist via regular mail

3/26 - Finally heard from the last one. Waitlisted at Cardozo by regular mail. Its strange to be waitlisted for a program that starts in 2 months.

3/28 - And it looks like I'll be at Tulane in the fall! I sent my deposit today, but I'm still active on the other waitlists so I'll update those if they change. I haven't fully decided what I'll do yet if I get in to one of them.

5/27 - Brooklyn full time acceptance came via email off the waitlist. Ultimately decided to turn it down after getting the scholarship details.

5/28 - And the next day, Temple acceptance off the waitlist via email. Also turned down to stick with Tulane. Same day told by Cardozo via email I would not get in off their waitlist.

8/27 - Rejected from American waitlist by regular mail. FYI - started at Tulane 3 days ago.

9/1 - Rejected from Fordham waitlist by regular mail.

That's all of them. I hope this helps people in the application process. If you have questions let me know. I know other profiles helped me.

hi, I was wondering if you received the scholarship offer at the same time that you were informed of your acceptance to Rutgers?

Hey man, I also live in NYC and will be moving to New Orleans to attend Tulane Law in August. What are your plans for the move? I've been researching different options and am just trying to get a feel for what others are doing.
