12-06-08: received WL letter from ND in small white envelope. i hate waitlists. an ominous sign of things to come...?

12-08-08: GULC status checker changed to Decision today. odd, update says friday, but i'm 100% sure they did it this morning. time to wait for the obvious rejection.

12-10-08: rejected at GULC pt. yep, 99% predictable. but damn that 1%.

12-16-08: small white evenlope from BC. i'm crushed. damn...no point in hoping for a miracle at BU. sigh. what a crappy xmas.

12-19-08: rejected at UCLA. not surprised. again, 99% predictable. and again, damn that 1%.

01-17-09: big envelope from loyola law. yay?

02-07-09: small ding letter from BU dated 02/02/09. yet again, not surprised. guess there's no future in boston! found some solace from knowing that the signature was personally signed.

02-26-09: after (im)patiently waiting for loyola, i finally get a call saying i get 23k per year. looks like i'm going home.

05-13-09: upon hearing news that notre dame will not be looking at their waitlists until the second deadline, i've lost all hope. loyola it is.

06-29-09: officially withdrew from notre dame. time to go home. hello loyola...this is a bittersweet.

sorry to hear about all the bad news... on the upside.. ND is a WL and i hear its easier to get off their WL than other schools' WL's... but good luck with the remaining!
