Additional info & updates

3/31/12 - Awarded $60k by Northwestern! My mind was made up, but that makes my loans about 20% less terrifying. Counting down to moving to Chicago in July-August!

6/24/11 - Rejected by Michigan via snail mail. I thought I'd withdrawn, but apparently not.

4/21/11 - WL by NYU. No surprise there. Sort of silly how LONG it took!

3/8/11 - Got the WL email from USC while sitting in a 150-yr-old lecture hall at Northwestern's ASW. Didn't sting much.

3/2/11 - Waitlisted by UMich. Hmph. Withdrew from UI-B and W&L to free up my $$ for others.

2/17/11 - 1 yr deferral to Northwestern granted!! Class of 2015, here I come!

1/18/11 - $60K (20K/yr) from W&L, via snail mail. Underwhelming, TBH.

1/12/11 - Finally got the letter from L&C. $20K/year for 4 years (PT program). Not bad.

1/9/11 - Getting seriously impatient to hear from L&C. Is this the week? Also would like to hear from W&L about $$.

1/7/11 - In at Northwestern! Guess they liked my 8 yrs WE, because my numbers only had me at 'consider' on LSP. Very very tempting. Am intrigued by Chi-town.

1/6/11 - Ridiculously fast turnaround by W&L. Less than a week, including the NYE holiday, from submit to accept. Other schools should take note!

12/24/10 - Christmas present! Not the school I was waiting for, but nice. Big $$ from IU-Bloomy. Looks like pretty much everyone with LSAT over 167 is getting the same offer or more. (To offset the surprisingly high tuition, one assumes.)

CLASS of 2015?

Are you still leaning toward Northwestern class of 2015? Nice "bird in the hand" if you're going to wait out Mich, NYU and USC. CONGRATS!

Yep, NU for me

I'm waffling between riding out the waitlists just out of curiosity and withdrawing from them all so my cycle has no rejections on it (shallow, I know), but I'll be in Chicago in 2012. Loved the school and the city at ASW.
