I applied for the NYU Root-Tilden-Kern scholarship so if I am nominated hopefully I can visit when I have the interview. The UT decision was not binding, although the $ is pretty hard to turn down.

UT over full tution at NYU. just curious why you made that decision

Happiness over Ranking

As crazy as it might seem I think there is more to choosing a law school than rankings. After visting both schools, I felt that UT was a better fit for me. And even with the scholarship offer at NYU it is cheaper to attend UT because the cost of living is so much lower. I know that they are both great schools, so it was really just a matter of where I would be happier at and that is why I choose UT.
