2/10 Put on "Hold" at Columbia via mail - which basically means they're still considering my application. Based on the size of the letter, I originally thought it was a rejection, so I'm actually relieved/encouraged.

I've heard they typically give out the full-ride scholarships with the admission packet. We should hear about rest of the scholly money sometime in February or March.

tip: if you prefer cornell over duke, i'd consider asking them to match duke's scholarship (if you care). it worked for me.
