12-05-10: Call from Dean Schwartz at UCLA...IN!!!
12-13-10: Under Review at Harvard, here's to hoping they love me for the special snowflake that I am and accept me with my subpar numbers.
AND...nearly a month later, complete at Columbia.
12-20-10: Decision rendered from Loyola Law School. I'll be waiting for the letter to show up in the mail.
12-22-10: Recieved letter from Loyola. Acceptance with a $69,000 scholarship.
01-05-10: Completion date for Northwestern updated to 1/3/10 and completion date for Georgetown updated to 1/5/10. NYU is still processing. Hoping for some (good) news from east coast/mid-west schools soon.
01-20-10: It's been a pretty quiet month so far. Just got an interview request from Georgetown today and my complete date updated to 1/20/11.
AND...in similar fashion to my update on Columbia, after a month, I'm complete and under review at NYU (crossing my fingers).
01-28-11: First rejection of the cycle... probably wouldn't have been a good fit at Boalt anyways. Hoping for some good news soon from a school I'd be more excited about!
02-02-11: Was part of the storm of "Hold" emails from Columbia. The wait continues.
02-04-11: WL from UVA. Doesn't seem like there's a good chance of getting off but we'll see what happens. Time to start drafting up some LOCIs.
02-08-11: Northwestern rendered decision on my app. Due to status check issues, no one was able to retrieve their PDF's until 2/9/11: a batch of Holds.
02-18-11: Received email rejection from Harvard. It was my ultimate hail mary, so no hard feelings on this one.
03-02-11: In Review at USC. Last of my schools to begin the review process. Here's to hoping for a quick acceptance.
03-07-11: Georgetown status checker updated to 3/7/11.
03-23-11: Georgetown status checker updated to 3/23/11, still no password generating on ASW. Does this mean a waitlist?
03-28-11: Georgetown status checker updated to 3/28/11. I guess the wait continues. edit: just received preferred waitlist email from Georgetown.
04-08-11: Waitlisted at USC.
04-13-11: Placed in Reserve Group at Columbia.
04-25-11: Waitlisted by NYU today, which brings my cycle to a close. I'll be attending UCLA unless I get in off one of the higher waitlists.
05-10-11: Unofficially accepted to GULC off the waiting list.
05-12-11: After being on hold at NW for a while, I was just waitlisted.
