Additional info & updates

Notes on Cycle:
Applied in early Nov. to everywhere except Duke which was late Dec (priority app). Heard back Jan-Mar.

Withdrew from W&L, W&M, and GW early in cycle (by early April). Withdrew from Cornell and GT before submitting fin aid info because I didn't think GT would give me anything and I liked Duke better than Cornell, didn't think Cornell would offer me anything crazy enough to make me actually consider living in a frozen wasteland, and Duke had better employment stats. This was about mid-April.

Deposited at Duke. Mid-April, after ASW and small bump to initial scholly.

Just stopped by to see whether you heard also...but looks like you're still waiting. I got in today, but not with the ED scholarship. Hopefully this means they're still seriously considering you for it though!

yay for more admits!

Congrats on Duke and GT! Those definitely give you some good options... any particular school or area you're leaning towards or especially excited about [if money weren't a concern]? I still haven't heard from Duke though my file has been "under review" since Dec. 3rd, so I'm guessing that an acceptance will not be forthcoming... but, given my numbers [particularly uGPA], I knew that Duke was a big reach for me. I'm waiting to hear about $$$ before I make any decisions -- I definitely can't afford to pay sticker price anywhere. I think if I were choosing based simply on which school I like the most, I would choose Emory (I visited in November and loved the community and the size), but we're pretty excited about the DC area, so maybe GT or GW?
