Additional info & updates

Got my LSAT score back on Christmas Eve '05. Merry Xmas to me. Was getting low 160s on practice tests. Some RC passages for the Dec.' 05 test put me to sleep.

3/16/06 Toured W & M and interviewed with 2 Assistant Deans.

3/24/06 UR waitlist

3/29/06 UF email with acceptance with PDF attachment that I can't open on any computer. I'm going to Orange/Blue Days on Friday, April 7.

3/29/06. Celebrated too hard with Wild Turkey and ruined any chances with a girl.

3/30/06 W & M waitlist. Pleasantly suprised. Anyone know if they give preference to Virginians?

Finally getting out of Charlottesville!

Congrats on UF! I didn't make it for the April 7th thing. How was that?

Admitted Students' Day was fair. There were faculty and student panels taking questions but no earth-shattering answers or information. We were divided into sections for more "student-like" questios, and people only wanted to know about football and football tickets. I thought it was a little odd, but I'm glad to hear that people are definitely having fun while at UF Law. The facilities were very impressive, and I was very thankful for the air conditioning. I wasn't ready for the upper 80s as compared to the 60s here in Virginia. The social scene was great. I stayed with friends who are currently at UF in graduate programs and they both seem to have a great time while getting good grades.
