12/19 - received thick envelope from temple with merit scholarship, dated and postmarked 12/14. woohoo, i'm in somewhere!........update later in the afternoon: in at george mason via telephone, no mention of money, packet to arrive soon in the mail. it's been a pretty good day!

1/10 - got a voicemail from 'dozo. i'm in with $25k. per year? total? i'm not sure. they're sending an envelope though so i should find out soon enough.

1/15 - GW should have sent early decision stuff today. no email or call, so i guess i'll be watching my mail. georgetown status check went decision. wish me luck on these!

1/18 - GW deferred me to regular decision via snail mail, saying they'll get back to me again in 4-6 weeks.

1/19 - rejection at georgetown via small envelope. no big surprise, i suppose.

2/4 - waitlisted at GW. they sure like to leave me hanging. thin envelope, postmarked 2/1

2/20 - found on the fordham status check (updated today) that i've been waitlisted. thought i had a good chance there, too. while it's a bit disappointing, i suppose i didn't want to shell out that much money and end up being a new yorker anyway. great place to visit, but not so sure i'd want to live there.
