Hey! Since it looks like we'll be applying to some similar schools I'm adding you to my watchlist. I have no doubt your military service will help you in the admissions process. However, I'm a military brat so I'm a bit biased.
- ButtonishAs far as I can tell, Georgetown is unusually prompt about getting their decisions out. Most other places, I think, usually don't send out letters until December or January. Good luck with your applications!
- courtz1686Good luck!! :)
- cookiecrisp83That letter wasn't to pleasant to look at! Good luck on your top choices, and thanks for serving. I come from a military family and it means a lot. Stay safe, just make sure you get back by Fall '08!
- ahatt1You do the same.
- ahatt1Congrats on FSU and thanks for the support, good lick on the rest of your cycle!
- jalex519*luck
- jalex519Congrats on your acceptance!!! Thank you for letting me know it is a small envelope, I probably would have been afraid to open it. That is pretty sneaky. :-) Best of luck with the rest of your apps.
- dotlynIt must feel so good to have an acceptance letter! I'm still waiting on an LOR from one professor, so nothing is complete yet. Keep me posted as more acceptances roll your way ;-)
- ButtonishThanks for the feedback. Cingratulations on Florida!
- new211It looks like we were both accepted at FSU. We also have almost identical numbers. Good luck on the rest of your schools!
- gainesville84Thanks alot for the warning, ha. I just want an acceptance already, everyone seems to be hearing. Where'd you go to school?
- hwmyonesYa, boston is great, i've always enjoyed my time there, but i grew up a canes fan, so i am not a big Eagles fan, but ya, chapel hill's been fun, looking forward to next destination though
- hwmyonesThanks for the info! Let me know how/when you here from American. What's your number 1?
- unlv08Thanks. Yah I will be keeping an eye on yours and seeing how you are doing. Hopefully you'll get acceptances across the board. Good luck!
- everlast08Wow! Congrats on FSU :) That was quick. Hopefully you'll be getting some more acceptance letters soon. Which school is your first choice?
- cookiecrisp83Nope, I haven't gone complete at UF yet..
- cookiecrisp83Yeah, a lot of mine are reaches trying to get into the T14. I got fee waivers from quite a few schools in the 50-100 range, along with emails suggesting full scholarships, but the goal is to try and get into a T14 school. I'm not sure what your chances are like at some of the lower schools on your list, the lower LSAT might hurt you. Where are you hoping to get in?
- PykeThanks for the message. Your cycle is off to a great start! And I'm certain there's more to come for you. I'm adding you too my watch list, but keep me posted!
- guiness19I see you got in at FSU! Congrats! I was thinking of applying there, but I'm kinda holding out for UW-Madison. Good luck for the rest of the cycle!
- kmhenry42I see you got in at FSU! Congrats! I was thinking of applying there, but I'm kinda holding out for UW-Madison. Good luck for the rest of the cycle!
- kmhenry42Congrats of FSU! You're on my watchlist, we have similar indexes.
- lwsch30Congratulations on FSU! I'm sure you have a lot more acceptances to look forward to. On another note, I can't believe I only applied several days ago and already so much anxiety and anticipation has already set in...
- vertigoCongratulations on FSU! I'm sure you have a lot more acceptances to look forward to. On another note, I can't believe I only applied several days ago and already so much anxiety and anticipation has already set in...
- vertigothere's quite a handful of bio majors this year it seems. I'm interested in the IP scene, in particular patent law. We'll have to see how it goes. Sometimes I wonder if it'll look bad if I have lower scores than their typically accepted and they'll look at my science major and think I didn't have enough exposure to pre-law-like stuff. But then again, paranoia has always been my best friend. -N
- trackerGood luck!
- modernaThanks for the vote of confidence, I'd be a more than excited if I could get into Miami. Congrats on FSU...I don't think I have a shot there, but it's not a big deal to me, I really don't want to go there. Just applying there for shits and giggles. Good luck the rest of the cycle though, I will keep an eye on your account!
- stiffbeatingThanks. Before we both changed our profiles slightly, I think we had the exact same numbers. And with your experience, I have no doubt you'll end up some where good. Be safe.
- lwsch30Please do NOT even consider New York Law School and Suffolk Law now... they are both toilet!!! Good luck the rest of the cycle and we'll keep congratulating each other a few more times before its all over :)
- virusnyI think i'd not go to law school before Dayton, but yes, i Can say some school took me ha
- hwmyonesfor the wishes of luck. i need them with my crappy gpa. hopefully my 6 years of work experience (during school) will make a difference.
- kayteeloo22Good luck, son!
- urmomfor the encouragement. I hope I get in most everywhere, but if I don't get at least 1 rejection, I'll feel like I didn't take enough risks. How do you have enough time for that many applications?!? =) Good luck!
- gowiIt's tough to tell. I did ED to Columbia and I saw 3 candidates from last year's LSN with my numbers who got in through ED. So I guess there is at least "some" realism in hoping to make it there. Then it would be NYU, then Penn or Chicago, and then it will depend a lot on money...
- virusnyI like your AF song, brings back memories. LOL. I know that this is the school for me. I figure why waste my time to apply to other schools when I know I am doing to get accepted in NCCU law.
- harrymdjrCongratulations! I'm very proud of you, we have extremely similar index numbers.
- lukecwatersCongrats on FSU...looks like you will have a great cycle! Best of luck with everything and I'll be stalkin' ya- haha
- pickme3333Whew! 2 for 2...you're on a roll.
- dotlynIt's good to see a fellow All American going through this. I applied last cycle, the waiting can be painful. Send me an email, I've got some info you might be interested in.
- mdsilverThanks, they were just that fast, I was as shocked as anyone, I thought the letter was going to tell me my application was complete. Good luck this cycle, if nothing else looks like you'll have a lot of schools to chose from.
- sanies...for the congrats! I do think it is good news from Michigan, I can't believe they would send out rejections on the first batch. But I don't want to count it just yet. Congrats to you on FSU and Penn State. I worked in Tallahassee for 6 months, it is a fairly nice town. Good luck on the rest!
- scurtis...for the congrats! I do think it is good news from Michigan, I can't believe they would send out rejections on the first batch. But I don't want to count it just yet. Congrats to you on FSU and Penn State. I worked in Tallahassee for 6 months, it is a fairly nice town. Good luck on the rest!
- scurtisThanks and good luck to you too. Congrats on getting 2 acceptances so early. Do you have a first choice school?
- angeltwinCongrats on Penn State, they've opened up dual campuses and you can finally go to law school with all their hot undergrads. just you know, for information's sake..
- hwmyonesCongrats on Penn State, they've opened up dual campuses and you can finally go to law school with all their hot undergrads. just you know, for information's sake..
- hwmyonesThanks for the congrats! Glad I have the acceptance on voicemail or I'd convince myself it was a joke. As it is, I'll be very glad to see the letter. Good luck and congrats on the acceptances you've got!
- dineiCongrats on your two acceptances so far! Hopefully you get in your first choice
- ahhsprewyouYou're on a roll man! Good Deal!
- lukecwatersThanks for the comment! I am definitely hoping to go to a school in California. Luckily there are many good schools here. I am mixed between the North and South though~
- kixiesthis is hilarious, i just got a scholarship to a school i didn't even apply to
- hwmyonesi'm thinking of a funny email to write back to him...i wrote back to the guy from alabama telling him i couldn't go to a school with nick saban as the coach haha. i just dont know anything about FCLS lol
- hwmyonesIt's a small private 11 year old "law center" in Jacksonville, FL. Pretty shitty.
- hwmyonesYou too, Congrats on your 2 acceptances so far. Hope you keep them coming.
- epmoneyHey, you might want to apply to Texas Tech, they are very pro-Army. dean and multiple profs are vets. All-American!
- ramblindorethanks a lot man, congrats on your acceptances, good luck on the rest!!
- timhoopCongrats! How did your acceptance come? I called today to check my status and they said decisions won't be made for a while...I never get how so many admissions people are wrong about when the committee meets and stuff?!?
- stiffbeatingI'll keep ya poste man. And damn, that's a long list.
- ilovecheeseSent you an email. Taking LSAT in December. We'll see how it plays out!
- Bigdrew09you cast a wide net too! good luck; we'll watch out for each other. congrats on florida and penn!
- lucyintheskyGood news early. Let's keep that trend going.
- countbizallerHaha, thanks! You're not doing too bad yourself!
- dranThanks for the congrats! Best of luck with your applications!
- littleoneGood luck to you!
- ecureuilThanks bud. Congrats on Penn State! Your on a roll and its not even Thanksgiving!
- everlast08I wish you very good luck and hope you do well!
- steveclankThey sent a flat-rate priority mail envelope from the US Postal Service. Good luck! I hope you get the same letter. :)
- sundevil4everThanks for the well wishes. I was disappointed with my LSAT performance but it is not going to keep me from trying for some top schools. Hopefully my "soft factors" will kick in. If not, I can't say I didn't try! Good luck to you with the rest of your cycle and congrats on being 2 for 2.
- mybestThanks! Good luck with your pending applications. Congrats on the success so far! Keep me posted!
- gtg897qhey ya man - representing BC. you a fellow eagle? congrats on ur first two acceptances... hoping for more to come (for us both!) keep me posted
- amigoodenoughfor the congratulations... and good luck this cycle!
- BoldAsLoveWhere is your realistic goal? Good luck, Dont take too many of my spots!
- UMDMikeThanks a lot. Way to go on FSU, I am def applying there myself. Hope more good news is headed your way!
- dshbored82im actually in NY. My numbers are off by a few points too. I just wanted to stay anonymous on here untill the cycle's over (then Ill fix my numbers). Good luck this cycle and congratulations on an acceptance already.
- 6062Thanks for the good wishes! You're right about the 'reaches' I applied to - I decided I might as well go for them since I was already applying to a bunch of places. Congrats on Penn State - I'm hoping to hear from them really soon. Looks like we applied at about the same time and you had a very quick response so that gives me some hope. Good luck with hearing back from the rest of your schools!
- exsa512Good luck to you as well!
- logged userThanks! Good luck to you.
- iammyidGood luck to you too! I'm sure you'll be hearing from them soon. And congratulations on your two acceptances!
- holyholyholyThanks for the message, I'll definitely keep you updated if anything comes through, congrat's on the acceptances!
- AndreasWCongrats at your acceptances too! It definitely feels great to hear back from your first school and know that you've gotten in somewhere. I see that we're applying to a lot of the same schools, so good luck!
- chitowngatorI live in Stamford, CT...UConn has a great program...good luck with everything and congrats on your acceptances so far!
- lms04003Thanks!! I was shocked at the turn around time. It came a in a big white envelope, not so thick though. Congratulations on Penn St. and FSU, hope your luck continues!!
- ucfrothThanks!! I was shocked at the turn around time. It came a in a big white envelope, not so thick though. Congratulations on Penn St. and FSU, hope your luck continues!!
- ucfrothHow the hell did you get that many fee waivers??
- LexiCatMy majors were Criminal Justice and Psychology. As for the small envelope, I've already warned my Dad that a small envelope is what he should be expecting, if they send it to the permanent address. :-)
- lwsch30... for the encouragement :) and congratulations on having acceptances already!! that must feel great, knowing you're DEFINITELY going to law school next year. here's to hoping there's many more to come!
- moosedropThanks for your kind words, and congratulations to you too on your first acceptances. Hopefully we will receive a lot more good news in the coming weeks. I was a Navy corpsman, and spend most of my time in Japan. Some of the best times of my life. Good luck!
- randomdogCongrats on FSU as well!
- clevegirlThanks for the gl wishes! Best of luck to you too, and congrats on already having some acceptances. Must be nice...
- metsgirl1331Hey thanks a lot. Have you ever heard anything about being considered a diversity applicant?
- jomallixthanks: for the congrats. I think it is smart to apply to a lot of schools when you get fee waivers, as in your case. I applied to 20+ and you've applied to even more. I think you'll be rewarded with a lot of good acceptances to choose from. Good luck.
- sourjack0880Congrats on FSU & Penn State! I'd kill for either! I went to FSU for undergrad... I loved it!!! let me know if you have any questions about the school or area... good luck with the rest of your apps! you've got a great LSAT score, so I'm sure you'll do well! congrats!
- michelleyso, are you dying inside with anticipation too? I am...I can't take the waiting game anymore!!!
- kmhenry42when will you get the results from your FLEP packet? I'm just glad I got my ED DELAY approved. I'm 26 now and would like to finish law school before 30. You're really competitive for FLEP based on the people selected last year.
- brandonphillip81Congrats on FSU and Penn. Sorry about UGA. I keep expecting the ding from there, but it hasn't come yet. I'm sure you will have lots of great choices when the time comes though. Take care.
- toooldforlawI am SOO surprised by the UGA rejection, and so sorry! Looks like you are going to have plenty of wonderful choices! Good luck with the rest of the cycle!
- gtg897qOn FSU and PSU, too bad on UGA. But hey keep your head up, plenty more letters to come.
- mockerlordthank you sir. good luck!
- empiricaldataHey I just heard yesterday from William and Mary. Came in a priority mail envelope, thought I would keep you posted! I'm so sorry about UGA-- that's so strange! I wouldn't worry though, it must have been a fluke! Their loss right? ;-)
- Kissourkilts18Did I count that correctly? Congrats on filling out 29 applications! You definitely have my top three choices in there. Good Luck! A top tier private school with good sports teams? Hmm...USC? BC?
- barryzuckerkornthanks for the well wishes... i already heard back from Miami and it wasn't the best news :/ I was deferred. But congrats on the acceptance to FSU and PSU... those are 2 great schools right there!
- sunnyfloridaWe got the same scholarship too it looks like. Sorry about UGA...I haven't even heard from them yet :(
- blueskies6on South Carolina!
- blueskies6yeah, I keep checking it every 5 minutes...I'm living in Georgia now so I guess I have a better chance, still no word from them though
- blueskies6hi drew, thanks for the well wishes...i was with 2ID, 43d ASG (Carson) and SOCCENT. good luck with your apps and i hope you're home in time for august!
- jobu2378Congrats on South Carolina.
- ahatt1Who would want to be in Georgia anyway???
- hwmyonesYou won't hear a complaint out of my mouth buddy. I snuck into a top 20 school, so there's a big ass smile on my face
- hwmyonesI want a free t-shirt!!!!!
- lslkCongrats on the acceptance. It's always nice to be loved somewhere.
- steveclankSeriously, they weren't the least bit sympathetic about it! Oh well. I didn't really want to end up in Georgia anyway. Athens is a cool town but I'll live! Thanks for the kind words and congrats to you too on your acceptances so far.
- lucyintheskyYou've been accepted to five schools! Compare that to my measly two. Is Maryland or Tennessee near the top of list?
- ButtonishYou understand...the dean stalked you...definitely checked you out, was totally interested, and decided she'd LOVE to have you there..keep you there as her little love slave. Just saying.
- hwmyones5/6 You're looking good!! I hope your top choice comes through too :)
- guiness19dude, your mama jokes are not cool when it comes to law schools. Be careful, the people in KY have guns, horses, and whiskey and they're not afraid to use it...i guess they have jelly too...but they're probably a little more afraid to use that.
- hwmyonesdamn son, you're gettin in all over the place. Congrats!
- blueskies6keep rolling in those acceptances!
- kmhenry42And congrats on all your acceptances! Merry Christmas!
- PinkTikiCongrats man, you're having a great cycle
- Redemption08on your many acceptances! just wondering what your reach schools are as it seems that given your stats, many of the schools youve applied to are almost gauranteed.
- geojo123thanks. I actually got a 151, a 154, and then a 163. If we end up in the same school, I will have to meet you
- whattheheckflaunt it! thanks for the note, you've got some nice momentum built up, great way to start the cycle. good luck and keep 'em coming!
- barrister2bIt was a regular sized envelope, the first page was the acceptance with the scholarship offer behind it. Feels good to have one in the bag! Congrats on your acceptances
- swendogthanks for the congrats. looks like your cycle is going pretty well, too! hope it keeps up nicely!
- typycalMy cycle has been amazing so far...I'm very happy. You're doing quite well yourself...you applied to so many schools! I hope you get into your top choices!
- florida11Thanks, it's very exciting!!! Best of look to you too :)
- woeismewow, I'm so excited I misspelled "luck" ... heh...
- woeismeYou thought u applied to alot of schools..... im really the inane one! But anyways, i wish you much luck and success on your cycle!
- dominrricanHave you had any contact with American? I am suprised we haven't gotten a decision yet...
- unlv08hey thanks. congrats on your acceptances thus far and best of luck on the rest of your cycle!
- catwoman99Thanks for the congrats! I'm sure you'll hear back from a bunch soon but it's looks like you've got some great choices so far anyways!
- lindstthanks a lot! i have a good feeling about a top tier acceptance for you before 08 - i was not expecting anything AT ALL from berkeley before the new year, but here i am! good luck!
- bricolagewhoa! lots of schools...do you have a top choice? I just think that I wasn't that well-spoken, didn't do a great job of answering a few tough questions to which I should've had better answers, and in general didn't do anything to set myself apart, which I *totally* could've if my heart hadn't been pounding...I have so much to say about my college experience and my work life since, but I just stammered like an idiot. Anyway, I'll live. Thanks for all your confidence, even if I'm not sure on what it's based :).
- nyc123Love your last post! Best of luck and hope you get all the "presents" you asked for. Seems like you have an awesome streak going anyways!
- pickme3333I feel confident about my prospects, but marking it as an 'acceptance' when many people have already been rejected would be both presumptuous and slightly tactless. My goodness you have a lot of schools, though. Is there any school you're particularly leaning toward? Congrats on the schools you've made so far, though. You have a nice 6-1 :).
- ghil04Congrats on your acceptances and scholarships as well!
- amandajoyce1015we applied to a lot of the same schools and have close numbers. Congrats on all the acceptances so far!
- olderandwiserthat's a lot of applications! you should have some good choices by the end. any chance you'd go to PSU-Dickinson? I go to PSU undergrad. good luck!
- todesgebruellFor the input! It's nice to think that a missing 'u' in one word on my applications won't override the hard work put into my numbers and the rest of my applications ( = I'm sure it was a relief for you - congratulations on the acceptances so far! Hope you get off the waitlist at Minnesota, it's an amazing school!!
- logicallaurenHey thanks! You really went all out applying to various schools! Any top choices?
- inspectionstareYou have my sympathy, being far away from home and mailbox as you are. I hope January brings you lots of good news.
- ButtonishFirst, congrats on your acceptances so far !!! Next, I would invite you to seriously consider applying to the University at Buffalo Law School. It is a strong Tier 2 school...higher rated than Penn State !!! The tuition, even for out of state students, is fantastic. As a first year student there all my profs are either Ivy League or Top 10 grads ! Again, best wishes to you !
- tortguyEven more acceptances for you! Congrats!
- blueskies6Thanks for your note. Yes, UB does offer fee waivers. I don't think you would be wasting your time applying. My Very Best to you !
- tortguyyeah man, I was really surprised. I was sure I was a lock there! Im pretty sure I was YP from their because I was out of state and didn't express any overly excited interest that I would matriculate there. Oh well, the first rejection has to come sometime!
- gclemen1I know, I was hoping I'd hear back from at least one school by the end of this week :( But congrats on all your acceptances!! Maybe next week will bring more news (good or bad. . . I just want some!) Thanks for the wishes, and good luck on the rest of your schools!
- asymptotalstotally surprised that things have gone this well for me. thanks for the good wishes. one thing that you have that i have none of is scholarships. congrats on those.
- joshualyman2008 ilrg.com ratings just came out ! University at Buffalo Law school IS RATED 29TH IN THE NATION REGARDING PERCENTAGE EMPLOYED AT GRADUATION !
- tortguyHey, yeah hopefully this whole war vet thing will work in my favor in front of the admissions board. Congrats on the schools you're already in at! I'd love TN and FSU.
- Texan4LawAh you're an Eleven Bang Bang? That's good stuff, I can't even count the hours I've spent in the mud with my 11B brothers at the 101st. Met some good 82nd guys at the Normandy jump in 2004. ALL THE WAY!
- texan4lawMan, I got into the school I wanted, I'm doing all you guys a favor with my presence! HAHA Good luck man, what a ride, what a ride. Stay safe, buddy!
- ahatt1Don't let the process get you down. Always have faith in yourself and your abilities. Your decisions will come, it just takes time, and when they do, it'll seem like they never stop. Then the fun begins!!!

- futureGSrainmakerHey Airborne!1!! Wow someone who made it out of Fayettenam too, and going on to do even greater things.. I did 5 of my years at 7th Special Forces Group off Ramsey street.. Good job on scoring a 163!! can't tell you what I would trade to have that score.. G/L and remember feet and knees together...
- tokenpuertoricanCongrats on your acceptances! Looks like we're applying to a few of the same schools. Good luck with everything. Which school is your top choice?
- nomikos86Nice work on AZ! You know, I think Arizona is the only time I've heard a lawyer (a DA) describe law school as the best time of her life. Congrats!
- dineiHey, congrats on AZ! If you can deal with heat, I'd honestly say that it'd be worth seriously considering, even if you get in to higher ranked schools. I'm from AK and I got admitted there last year. When I arranged for a visit, the staff was so friendly and helpful it blew me away. They gathered up all the 1Ls from Alaska (all three of them) to talk with me from a perspective that I could understand (it was SO nice to be able to ask questions of people who know where I'm coming from), one of the staff went out of his way to direct me to some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten, and they even sent me a christmas card. Honestly, if moving from central Alaska to Tucson wouldn't have been such a tremendous culture shock, I'd be there today, hands down. They also have a somewhat older student population, quite a few ex- and current military students, and everyone seemed like overall decent human beings. Also, cool perk: if you're married, and your wife gets a full-time job at the U of A, guess what? You get to go to law school for free. Anyhow, good luck and hooah!
- arctichey thanks for the condolences about george mason. i am still pretty surprised. i think it may be more a matter of the school trying to up its status by admitting less people this year, perhaps. i only considered it a safety because i applied part time where my numbers were above their averages. c'est la vie, good luck the rest of the cycle.
- barrister2bwhy is your gpa so low?
- ohgov2020Ohgov is an idiot. He just tries to start arguments. Ignore him. G Luck on the rest of your apps.
- obfadilto discuss the war with you, if you're interested...do you have a gmail acct? Also...check my profile, look at what he has written now.

- logged userYou seriously made my day, thanks. I do believe you're the only person I've encountered who applied to more schools than me... although not by very many! Good luck. :)
- daisee212Thanks for your kind comments. Thats quite the net you've cast. Good luck, I'm cheering for you.
- ksalinaThanks for your kind comments. Thats quite the net you've cast. Good luck, I'm cheering for you.
- ksalinaYeah, I know everything is a pretty much a reach for me now. Thought I'd do better on the test 2nd time around and was hoping for a 164-5 to get me at least over the median at my "target" schools, but c'est la vie. Good luck to you too!
- ugawarrentHey man, thanks for the congratulations - I was suprised myself to see that message. I've seen you posting on other's comments and want to wish you the best of luck. Your attitude is very refreshing during a time where stress seems to dominate -- impressive! And it sounds like your serving our country, which I think is great. I have several friends in the various services and appreciate every day the things y'all do for our country. Keep me updated, best of luck the rest of the way!
- achtungand best wishes.
- Shebangfor the encouragement and congrats on all of your acceptances so far! I'm sure you'll have lots more coming your way! :)
- callie411haha thanks for the kind words, best of luck to you too! I'm gonna assume you're from Boston, even though the Rockets are gonna top the Celtics in the finals this year :) As far as BU vs BC.. I used to be in ACC country and BC left me with a bad taste haha. I read that BU was 5min walking to Fenway Park and I was sold. If you know much about either of those schools though I'd love to hear your insight if you wanna e-mail me. Oh yeah, and I don't think you applied to enough schools!
- whylawHey science geek. Thanks for the positive words. Don't worry so much about GMU or Michigan. Hey, your total number of acceptances is bigger than my total number of applications! Good luck with the rest of your apps!
- biochemistThanks for the support-- good luck to you as well! I sure wish I had your LSAT score!
- AmyLynn637congrats on all of your acceptances so far. i got my first acceptance today. not a school i would really want to go to but its very nice to know i can go somewhere. good luck with the rest of your apps!
- boogalbirdby that loser... I deleted the post, but he mentioned he is tryingto get us removed from LSN(contacted the admins). What he doesn't know is that all the convos are recorded permanently on this site. If they perform an investigation, like a good lawyer would, they will easily find Ohgov to be guilty of hazing on this site. Not to worry. How's everything? I added you to my gmail chat... accept it if you want.
- obfadilwhat safety schools do you recommend?
- eddiesgirl29For the well wishes. Hopefully one of these schools will admit me. Congrats on your acceptances thus far and good luck for the rest of the cycle. I will add you to my watch list as well.
- 2008TPPGradfor the encouragement buddy and most of all for serving our country. You are doing really well too and it looks like we applied to a lot of the same schools, good luck and keep checking in
- oldpro55So is it just me or is this process horrific or what? I cant wait to find out exactly where i'm going next year! thanks so much for the words of kindness. I hope that i receive as many acceptances as you have =) I know that you have many more to come. I will definitely keep you posted. And i will be keeping my eye on you as well lol...
- ladytThanks, you too! I do go to UD but I have never heard of that person.
- cheerinashto you as well. I appreciate the fact that you applied to so many schools; life's a lottery and it makes sense to buy many tickets. Congrats on your acceptances and good luck with the rest of your cycle.
- 1985Hey, thanks! Go Pats!
- RY132BC baby! You have so many posts and so many apps haha. I really wanna get into Fordham but I don't think I'll get in. What's your #1? No application to BC?
- Franker927Best of luck to you as well. Where are you wanting to go?
- aguacalienteThanks for the kind words. I'm not down about tOSU...there's more fish in the sea and I am 5-1 as of this moment. You're doing really well for yourself too. I'm sure that you are going to get many more acceptances. I too am really waiting on IU and UF. I'm still waiting on Tennessee too - at least you're in there.
- ndlutzThanks for the kind words.
- ndlutzThanks, bro. I know what you mean. I just want to find out where I'm in at so I can make a decision. Btw, Brady's in a cast with a leg injury. Matt Cassel, Super Bowl MVP?
- bonobobbyfor the kind words. I figured the name pretty much sums up this process for the majority of people. How did you hear from Tennessee and FSU? Packets, letters, phone calls?
- impendingdoomdon't worry, i didn't take your comment negatively. i appreciate the advice and encouragement. =)
- eddiesgirl29Thanks for the note, Drew, and congrats on Zona+$$. You asked an interesting question, and I haven't decided what I'm going to do. First of all, I have some more decisions to wait on (like you, I applied to MANY schools). But, if all else comes back with bad news (which is possible), I think I will put my deposit down at UIUC, but still hold out on the Duke waitlist. UIUC is a great school and I'm psyched about the possibility of my going there, but I'd much rather be at Duke next year. So in the meantime I am trying to get off the WL; I have started my LOCI, and am getting a new rec, as well. Also, I'm from Chicago, so I can easily wait til the very last minute to move to Champagne, and hopefully not have to move twice if I get the call from Duke. BUT, if I get good news from any T14, or even a T20, I think I will withdraw my name from the Duke WL, in order to have the piece of mind that comes with knowing 100% where I will be in the fall. Even though Duke is my number one choice, places like UVA, NU, and GULC are CLOSE runners-up, so I wouldn't be sacrificing a great deal in order to be stable and confident about where I wil be in August. I just don't want to spend my summer anxiously waiting on a phone call, which is exactly what I'll do so long as my name remains on the WL. I will be perfectly happy at a small handful of other schools, so if I get into one of them, I'm going to commit fully to going there. Does that make sense? And with all that said, this is just how I feel today. Ask me again tomorrow... Thanks again for the congrats, and good luck on the rest of your cylce. I'll be keeping an eye out for you. If this is any encouragement, we have the same or extremely similar index at many of the schools on your list (UIUC included). Good luck!
- logged userThe above post is from me, sorry it's such a novel!
- arcusprotusCongrats on breaking into the first tier, a feat I still have not accomplished. I agree, I'm ready to hear from UF already. At least you have FSU under your belt! Congrats, you're having a great cycle so far.
- dotlynAlthough that is impressive too, I still think that breaking into the first tier is going to serve you better in the long run. :-) Hehehe (Oh, congrats on breaking the top 50!)
- dotlynWhen you heard from S. Carolina how did they let you know? And how did you find out about the scholarship offer - thanks.
- yankeemikeThanks for the congrats and best wishes. I wish you the best with the rest of you admissions cycle. You've got some big schools left to go and I'm sure several of them will be acceptances.
- cletusomHey man, Thanks for the comment. Congrats on all the acceptances and money. Currently I'm wasting away in an Emory U. chat room with no admissions counselor. Good luck to you.
- CavanaughParkhey Drew, Thanks for the kind words. Good luck to you as well. I actually didn't get into GM either, but I forgot about that b/c I wasn't going to attend anyway and they don't really have a public interest program. Much love to the big ten schools. Good luck.
- tennis19Best of luck to you as well. Yeah, I'm hoping my GPA will do me some good in this whole process--even if my LSAT score is a bit of a setback. I probably won't be hearing from anywhere for awhile, so I'll be checking up on how everyone else is doing for the next month or so.
- malissa07Did you receive any kind of scholarship offer from MSU? Did they just send you a small envelope?
- ndlutzCongrats on Wisco! Great day for you! Keep it up!
- kmhenry42Congrats on Wisconsin! (and FSU!) That's awesome, its one of the ones I'm anxiously awaiting response from. Did they email you or did you find out via snail mail?
- rechtsanswalt86Congrats on Wisc! With all these acceptances you must have something pretty special so I bet you've got an acceptance coming from OSU...
- texan4lawI'm such an idiot on this LSN mumbo-jumbo. I responded to your post on my page ON MY OWN PAGE! (oops). Anyway, I'm copying and pasting below, and adding a CONGRATS on Wisconsin! I know a couple of 1Ls at UConn Law and they LOVE it. Strong student body, great professors, not overly competitive. I'd have applied there, but I lived in CT for 3 years from 1999-2002, and next year I'm trying to be somewhere new for me. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you- **WISCONSIN!!! Awesome! My whole family went to UW(UG, tho). There is no better place in the country than Madison, if you can handle the weather in Jan/Feb. Do you have a new #1 choice today?
- arcusprotuson OSU!!
- elainebenesWay to go!
- joshualymanWhat did the e-mail say? Did you get a call also? I just got the call not too long ago, but no email yet. Anyway, Congrats. Go Bucks.
- gosteelersI just went to decision at OSU today too...you got an email and not a phone call? What did it say? And congrats!!!
- blueskies6congratulations on all your acceptances. Hopefully I hear from one of those two schools soon.
- impendingdoomtouche...I see :) Well that puts my mind at ease slightly. Thanks and congrats again!!
- blueskies6Congrats...that's some sweet money.
- BMahoganyAnd congrats on all your acceptances. It looks like you still have a lot to come your way!!
- lishithanks! i heard from my mom . . . j/k. my permanent and current address are the same (for in state tuition purposes at a couple of places), so i'm not sure which one they meant to send it to. according to my mom, it came in a small envelope that looks like a rejection until you see the tiny "congratulations!" printed in a corner. also, i've seen my s.o.'s package from them, and they send a big folder later and an additional mailing inviting people to apply for scholarships. good luck to you, too! you've got wisco already which is one of my faves, so you're sitting pretty as it is IMO.
- ressentimentthanks and good luck to you too! Maryland and GW both seem really weird about timing of acceptances, but hopefully you'll get some news soon :)
- mstofualways nice to get that first acceptance 'cause everything else is just icing on the cake. good luck with nd and the remaining pending schools - you've got some great options available already!
- barrister2b...and congrats to you, too!
- law1212For your kind words. I'm fine with H. I'll have a great time at Mich:D Congrats on your cycle!
- rossumThanks man, I appreciate it. Looks like you're off to a very solid start as well. Good luck on that last bunch--that is, if you're still waiting on your #1.
- reitepThanks man, I appreciate it. Looks like you're off to a very solid start as well. Good luck on that last bunch--that is, if you're still waiting on your #1.
- reitephow did osu notify you? did they ever sent u an application completion email? also, does application status tell you the decision?
- iwillIt looks like you've got a pretty good list of acceptances so far! Good luck with that ND app.- you never know unless you try!
- WyattOilHow did MSU notify you? Congrats!
- iwillThanks for the message! You are the man... your gettin' in left and right and getting cash like it grows on tree's. I gonna need some of what you got. Later man. Congrats on U Conn too!!
- jimmycricketfor your kind words. You are having an amazing cycle as well - its wonderful when veterans get their dues :) Good luck making what is surely a tought choice to make.
- calgal86Congrats to you as well! Still uncertain about where I would choose to attend. I imagine it will be difficult for me to rank them much until I know fully what my options are. Good luck with the rest of your cycle.
- lms04003Congrats on all of your acceptances! 15 schools! And the great thing is that I am sure I will be back to wish you more congratulations on other schools.
- everlast08Thanks alot for the Congrats. Its been a successful cycle so far. How did you hear from UCONN? Its one of my top choices and I will also get instate tuition. Congrats to you as well!!!
- chrisny7Congratulations on the admit to UConn! I almost applied there myself, it's a great school. And free ride at your own state's university is all the more reason to celebrate. You've been doing awesome this cycle... it's so fun to check yours out because you applied to so many schools, and it's great to see you're getting in to so many of them. I wish I got as many fee waivers! :D You still have a lot of great ones pending... so I'm definitely crossing my fingers for you in kind. :) Good luck!
- rechtsanswalt86Thank you for your kind words. I was excited, but not nearly as excited as my first acceptance! I'm hoping for an admit to one of the other top 5 schools that I am applying to! Best
- obfadilCongrats on your recent acceptances..looks like you're going to have a difficult choice, do you have a top pick thus far?
- lindstI just got the Hold email from Illinois too...congrats on everything so far.
- hwmyonesthanks so much!!! ahhh im like 95% sure ill be attending uconn. keep in touch if you end up going there! where are you from??
- dariabfor the pick me up. I cant believe you got rejected from GM. It looks like you got some good ones already though. Good luck the rest of the way, I'm pulling for you too.
- moogs15Thanks! If your not an LT, thanks Sir. I cannot wait until I am a civilian again either. Where are you stationed? I have a cousin who is married to a guy who I believe was in the 82AB... he was at Ft Bragg, in his last assignment.
- waveyxdaveyI hope you get into Wash U man. It was amazing. Seriously had an incredible weekend, and i'm99% sure i'm going there.
- hwmyonesCongrats on both friend!
- achtungWanted to keep you posted...rejected from UCLA...but all I care about is Fordham....this wait is killing me! Congrats on UConn, I know you were pumped about that! BC bball is sucking!
- Franker927good luck to you too!!! I see we have similar numbers, so I'm going to add you onto my watch list! and congrats on so many acceptances!!
- flora3892How're you getting accepted to so many good schools? I'm jealous.
- jimmycricketOn everything so far, but especially Conn... Having a full-ride option at a T1 school is amazing. I'm sure there is plenty more goodness to come.
- dilg0001Congrats on your schools man! Maryland and UCONN, very nice. Ya, UF is taking their sweet time. Tulane is my #1, have friends who live there and my brother went to grad school there as well, but it will cost me a pretty penny to attend. Tulane is the most expensive, but most flexible after graduation school I have. I wish I could push them for a few thousand bucks, maybe 5K a year, is that too much to ask? haha
- ahatt1THanks for the Kudos. I keep jokingly telling my roomate that they must be sending the ding letters to the wrong address! You're really cleaning house this cycle too! Whats your first choice? Can you tell me anymore about Quinn? I don't really know that much about it. Finally, I'm sorry you feel that way about the Patriots. In the midwest we lovingly refer to the Pats as the Yankees of football. But then again if you are a Yankees fan this joke has no punchline. Seriously though, thanks!
- thecrashharder1thanks for the congrats on UConn, its definitely one of my top choices as of right now. I will definitely get in contact with you if I do end up going there, its a great school.
- vidharthathanks for the congrats on UConn, its definitely one of my top choices as of right now. I will definitely get in contact with you if I do end up going there, its a great school.
- vidharthaThanks Drew! Its been a good cycle so far, here's to more acceptances for us both. Yeah for non-trads!!! :)
- olderandwiserThanks man...Yeah I figure even if the rest of the schools don't work out, I'm going to have some tough choices. Looks like you will too.
- whatssofunnyboutThanks Drew! Congrats to you as well, your cycle has been great! My grandma is from Tennessee and I really like it down there, so I was happy to get it.
- delaniefor the congrats on uconn! congrats to you on uconn and all your other acceptances! uconn is probably where I will end up too. Im an in-stater but finishing up school in DC now. Where in CT are you from? Good luck with the rest of your schools!!
- krismas358For the congrats but I am still heartbroken over the Giants victory. I'm not diehard Pats (actually diehard Jets as weird as that is and I hate the Giants) but I love history and I love Michigan (Brady is a Wolverine hence my interest in his success). Life sometimes can put sports into perspective, but hey GO CELTICS!!!
- futuregsrainmakerfor the congrats. congrats on all your acceptances and good luck on the final 15
- wzmundythanks on the cornell congrats...i am definitely psyched out of my mind! i never thought i'd get a t-14...this is unreal...looks like you'll have a ton of great options yourself! good luck with the rest of the cycle!
- kevoThe wait is driving me nuts, so thanks for the good wishes! You've got a ton of $$$ and nice schools already. Hope everything works out for the best!
- tsukifuneWaiting stinks! It looks like you're doing really well. Indiana and UF are really stringing us out.
- ndlutzYou've got to be the most popular person on this site! How did you hear from Arizona? I'm starting to get nervous because I still havnen't heard from alot of places!!!
- inspectionstareOn a great cycle so far! I got into Quinnipiac with $$, too. Have you visited? What do you know about it? Just wondering. Take care and be safe.
- midori17hey dude, i just got the packet monday, but with no scholarship info. my top choices are ucla, usc, and texas, but those are pretty long shots so i probably wont get in. my parents are pressuring me to go to iowa since its a really good school, but pepperdine is pretty tempting, esp with the $$ offer.
- cfCongratulations! You have so many choices already - if it ended right now, where would you be going?
- saiboTFunkeI'm so happy that you're in at a school you really like. I won't see you at UConn if that's where you go, but maybe I'll see you in court someday ;-)
- ButtonishIm curious airborne, how did you manage to swing all those fee waivers? I't love to try my chances at a few more schools but its getting pricey! Congrats on all the accepts
- luckyshotClassy move to withdraw so others can have the shot. Thanks very much for that.
- Redemption08There went my sweep... came home to a Stanford rejection letter last night! Good luck with your cycle :) You applied to more than I did (AMAZING!!!).
- KatrinaUMDThanks for the help. You saved me about $200 in fees!
- luckyshotNice list of acceptances there. You've got quite a decision to be making in the next month. I'm sure where ever you end up you'll be happy though--it's a great list.
- reitepCongrats on all of your AWESOME acceptances! Would you mind withdrawing from Wisconsin if you're set on UConn?
- sunshinedustCongrats on all the acceptances! I'm still not sure where I'll end up in the fall. I don't know very much about UConn, but I'm planning to visit sometime soon! Good luck with everything!
- kmweigleHey there! How goes it? Sorry about UCLA and GW. I got dinged by GW myself a couple of weeks ago. Nicest rejection letter I've gotten though. :) Are you still planning on UConn?
- olderandwiserI have no idea what I'm going to do. Start visiting places and probably make my decision that way. I would still really like to hear good news from IU.
- olderandwiserMaybe you don't want to say, but are you in Iraq or Afghan... I've been stalking your site since our numbers and background are similar. And I too feel your pain at GMU...I soothe it by calling them names...'Number Whores' works for me...
- lafersonso I see youre def attending uconn! im like 90% sure we will be classmates!
- dariabI was in Iraq in Aug last year for only two weeks before getting hit by an IED and flown out with a piece of metal sticking out of my skull. I lost my driver and am only recently starting to feel normal again. I wish you and your guys the best... My unit is slated to come home next month and I pray every day for no bad news...
- lafersonhaha ... kind of sounds like it but not sure ... congrats on acceptances btw :)
- bryguyhi! I'm not really considering UConn at this point. Congrats on all your acceptances! Good luck at UConn!
- forthewinOn deciding on UCONN. Nice to know where your headed huh? I think I am heading to FSU. I hope you get to come home earlier than you thought!
- everlast08How'd you decide on UConn? I would have had a really hard time turning down Arizona with that kind of money.
- BMahoganyi'm currently deployed and we have pretty similar stories. I wasn't sure how law schools (which tend to be liberal) felt about our military, so i haven't been putting anything about it. you have obviously done well throwing that knowledge out there so i appreciate the confidence. cheers!!
- kaceeWow, congrats on getting accepted to so many places! How did you choose to attend UConn?
- perhapsin2008Hi Drew! I just wanted to say congrats on making your decision. UConn is a great choice. And an even bigger congrats on coming home early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Safe travels!
- olderandwiserGreat to hear from you too! I'll drop you a line at your regular address here soon. Till then...
- olderandwiserI see you went to BC, can I get your opinion on the Boston area? I need anything to help me with my decision!!!
- futuregsrainmakerI think that was a great decision. Looks like I'll be going to the U of Utah. Anyways, thanks for posting on my profile and good luck with law school this fall!
- jimmycricketI just noticed that you're on reserve at Cornell. I think that's a huge accomplishment in and of itself (especially considering that you're low numbers wise). That's really a testament to .... Well, anyway, ... congrats, buddy.
- woeismeI hope that didn't come across the wrong way (re: my above post). I just liked how you underestimated yourself in your "Additional Information" section... :P
- woeismeI was wondering if you had any tips on getting into Tenn or even South carolina. Or pointers/view on how the process went. thanks
- tjcollinsHey dude, I am stuck in Ramadi, and have already applied to several schools, howd you go about getting fee waivers for being deployed?
