3/21/09 All things considered I feel fairly lucky to not have been rejected yet. I hope I do not jinx myself. I am still waiting word from two schools (one of them I applied "Early Decision"), and I am really hoping to get off the waitlists, preferably before August!
4/3/09 Since the last update I have heard from the remaining schools, a waitlist at Houston and a rejection from Oregon. I thought for sure I was going to go through my entire cycle without a straight up rejection, oh well. I enjoyed visiting Eugene last summer and really liked the school but it really wasn't an option so I am not too upset. I am happy with the waitlist to Houston. Hopefully I can convince them to take me off.
I have been waitlisted to three of my top four and accepted in the other. I really hope I will be accepted to at least one (preferably all) of my waitlists. I visited Catholic today and I am really impressed. Like most other people and probably more so I really would like to hear from my waitlist schools before July/August. I guess it's LOCI time!
Let's go Utes, Cougars, and Cardinals!

On the bright side I have been what I would consider very fortunate since the last time I posted. I was waitlisted at Lewis and Clark and then admitted three weeks later?! The big news was I was accepted off the waitlist for Catholic. This was my solid number two school, and I will be happy to go to school there, however I am still holding out for Utah, which for many reasons is my number one school. I am very hopeful that I will hear from them soon, but I understand these things take time and may never materialize. So in essence I will either be in Washington or Salt Lake City.

Not much has changed, except for the fact that I withdrew from two schools, University of Hawaii and Lewis & Clark. I did not realize beforehand how difficult it would be to say 'no thanks' to UH and L&C. Hawaii was especially painful because I have lived there before and would love to live there again. I guess I could move there after school. Still waiting on Houston and Utah. At this point there is not much hope, but there is still hope. A call from SLC in the next couple of weeks would be great!

Saw that three fortunate people got off the waitlist at the U of U. While it is nice to see some movement on the waitlist, I realize that my chances are very slim now. However, I will continue to hope that I get a call tomorrow or next week. I still believe that Utah is the right school for me.
forgot to sign in...thats me on catholic!
