John Marshall: Large manilla envelope. Letter dated 1/19, postmarked 1/23.

Emory: Received invitation to Admit Day on 3/10. Still hadn't received any official communication regarding admissions decision. Called admissions on 3/16 and they said I was accepted. Packet was either lost in the mail or slow. Received large white envelope 3/17. Letter dated 3/6, postmarked 3/13. Scholarship letter dated 3/22, postmarked 3/24.

Georgia State: Online status check says Decision Made/Accepted on 3/21. Nothing official in the mail, besides two invitations to accepted students events in Atlanta.

Interesting application spread

Just curious about your spread of applications. You're from Mass. but only applied to one Mass.-area school. It looks like you're interested in settling in Georgia... but passed over UGA and only applied to GSU and John Marshall even though they're much less prestigious.

yep. someone else on the site got it, called admissions and was told that it meant they had been accepted. ... an assumption, but a good one i guess
