Drexel Law

I am not interested in their concentrations either, but given the nature of our changing legal world, I am glad that we have them so I can at least have some cutting edge knowledge from all three of those fast growing areas. I am most interested in the co-op for the US Justice Department and the Federal judges. I would like to work with each of them for 6 months. There are many co-op employers from more traditional firms (some of which hire new associates at 100k/year). I am glad they are committed to a traditional law degree as well. You LSAT is about average, I gather, from what I have seen of the other applicants. About half of the class so far has some work experience or advanced degrees. If you would like to meet some of them, send me an IM on AIM. Drexel has received over 1200 applications for 120 seats, which has made them more selective as to who they admit. You shouldn't have a problem, however. That is an impressive GPA and one of the highest in the applicant pool. Based on what I have seen, you could be looking at a scholarship of 21-28. It's nice to see how good grades and your life experiences matter to a University. You worked real hard for a reason right? OK, time to get back to work. --Ben

Emory is my #1. I think I got in since they sent me a visiting day mailer...but still no acceptance package. Same deal at Georgia State as well...invitation to their visiting day. I guess the mail doesn't make it up to Boston.
