Updates/Comments:

DePaul gets points for being aggressive. They know I'm interested in IP, and one of their IP professors called to let me know about being admitted. They've sent me something in the mail every week, often twice a week. And a T-shirt. :)

Visited a school for its accepted-student weekend. While it was helpful at the end--the staff and volunteers were fantastic--I could have seen more visiting on my own or in a small group. Will not go to more of these. Bit of a zoo.

Update 3/11: Chicago-Kent's scholarship offer has a nice contingency. If I don't get a 3.25 end of first year, can still keep half the award if I get a 3.00. That's certainly less daunting.

Update 3/15: Planning to visit SLU on 4/6. I'd go sooner but am on vacation next week.

Update 3/21: Rejection letter from Illinois.

Update 4/9: Notified SLU that I am accepting their offer of admission. Can't wait to get started!

Update 4/10: Emailed Wash U to ask status. They emailed that I was on waitlist. Withdrew.

4/20: Sent email to Wisconsin to ask the status. I'm guessing they sent a letter and it was lost in the mail. I see a lot of "pendings" under LSN's Wisconsin applicants, though, so they do appear to be holding off on notifications. Admissions replied that they're still evaluating my application.

4/27: Waitlisted at Wisconsin.

Hey! Good luck with the rest of your cycle, congratulations with all that $$! :) What significance does your user name have?? Or did you just have to memorize that crazy long number in order to log on each time? Hehe.

Number E

The number e? Aww, you're a Real Nerd! :) How sweet. I'd definitely let you in.

Hey look, we've gotten into two of the same schools (De Paul, Kent)! I haven't visited either, and probably will not. I am in at American, and they are still winning. Its too bad about passing up the $$ from De Paul, though. Yesterday I got a nice De Paul Law t-shirt in the mail. I like them. Pooey. Have you been?

hey

Thanks! You like the book? I have visited Harvard; it is definitely my first choice. We'll see what happens! And I think "e" is cool, not nerdy!
