C&F Issue

*All Scholarships are per year*

1/12: First acceptance! DePaul via e-mail. Acceptance packet to follow.

1/13: Accepted to Hofstra via e-mail. The acceptances are flowing in like a wild torrent, a rushing cascade of scholarship!!!!

Also Accepted at Marquette!!

1/18: Accepted at Mizzou via phone call. Very cool.

1/19: Accepted at W&L, wasn't expecting that, via e-mail.

Accepted at Arkansas via old-fashioned mail with a $12000 scholarship (which is half-tuition for out-of-state students). First scholarship offer received, and not too bad of one at that.

1/20: Accepted at IU-Indianapolis via e-mail.

1/21: Full Scholarship from Hofstra today, damn you Hofstra...damn you...

1/23: In at Loyola Chicago via e-mail.

1/24: In at Miami via myUM account!!

2/4: In at Toledo via online status checker. Great? Um...hmm...

In at UALR with an $8,000 scholarship and in-state tuition (which is ~$12,000) via a medium-sized envelope.

2/9: Full Scholarship from Mizzou for the first year and then $9,000 for the second and third year. With in-state tuition, that makes Mizzou most likely my cheapest option.

Withdrew from Arkansas and UALR.

2/13: In at Drake w/ $18,000 general scholarship and eligible for a diversity scholarship to cover the rest.

Also in at Colorado-Boulder!! That's pretty sweet.

Withdrew from Toledo today.

2/16: In at SLU w/ $78,000 total scholarship.

2/21: In at WashU! Boomtown!

Withdrew from Drake based on this acceptance, time to get lean.

2/23: Rejected from Minnesota! How dare they...first rejection.

2/24: $32000 from Marquette! That's pretty good, Marquette is usually quite stingy.

Withdrew from Loyola Chicago and DePaul. Unless Chicago-Kent has something good to say, I don't think I will be ending up in Chi-Town.

2/29: In w/ full tuition at Michigan State.

3/5: Rejected at ND and wait-listed at YU.

3/6: Deny at BU.

3/9: Learned via Status Checker that I was denied at Tulane! My no. 1 choice! That's okay though. I also found via Status Checker that I got into Chicago-Kent. Things are starting to take shape.

Also wishing good luck. I'm from MO too, very similar numbers and applying to many of the same schools.

you are seriously under-estimating the power of affirmative action... I think you'll have a better cycle than you think.... good luck better...

Wow

I've been following your cycle, congrats on the SLU scholarship, that's pretty sweet. You looking at Mizzou/SLU seriously?

Wow!

Congrats on such a great cycle. You cast a pretty broad net, and it looks like you have a lot of great acceptances. If I were you I would take WashU unless you get into Penn.
