Additional info & updates

Organized my schools into 1 of 3 categories: Dream, Reach, or Safety. To put it simply, I got caught up in my Dreams so here we go. Probably more schools to come provided fee waivers keep coming.

12/16- Applied Early Action to Cornell since it was non-binding. Got a letter saying a decision could not be made, being put into regular pool and if I would like to add something to my app, to do so. Hmm. . .what to add?

12/22- Tulane online checker says updated with today's date. Yikes! But no acceptance email. :( Could there be any hope?

1/4- So by now, I am clearly addicted to this online status checker mess which is really quite useless. To tell me my app is complete? What?! Did I just spend $60 (even if I do have a fee waiver, I consider that to be money I kinda had at one point in time) to tell me that my app is complete? It better be. I WANT ANSWERS

But I digress. . checked Tulane status checker and it said "Decision has been made." Perhaps had I continued reading, I would have noticed the acceptance email as a mailing and my deposits information complete. But I just called the office instead. Haha. . .and good news! Plus some money. Well hello!

So now I will start checking my other schools. EVERY DAY.

1/22- So I'm 2 for 3. Rejected by some non-surprises but happy I tried nonetheless. Only real bummer was Michigan because they pursued me. But hey, I dated a guy once from Michigan and he wasn't a winner. Maybe it was sign.

USD. . .application only complete for a week and half and I'm in. But my heart is still with Tulane. I have 2 more "dreams" remaining. Not upset with this cycle, but I am ready to get it over with. Mail in some deposits, pack my bags, and be done.

2/5- Well hello Univ. of Illinois. I know nothing about you, but thanks for that fee waiver and the acceptance. I appreciate it. Now time to research. A friend's boyfriend was hardcore about going to U of I over Tulane. But I'll begin my research first.

2/17- Notre Dame: Waitlisted. Feeling: umm okay. Not feeling any way and I think Tulane is still where my heart is. That's if maybe USC surprises me but that would be EXTRA lucky. Not sure if I will say I want to remain on the waitlist. Why hold a possible spot when someone else can?

3/17- Rejected from Columbia. Opened it up and smiled. I love Tulane more and more so I'm waiting now on two more but I'm 90% sure. . .and happy
