My master's thesis project was published by a leading public health journal (first author) and I've served as a co-author (usually 2nd or 3rd author) on ~15 other publications.

In my personal statement, I outted myself as both queer and having a chronic psychiatric diagnosis. We'll see how that went over with the various admission committees...

Hey - I got the scholarship information in my acceptance packet - nothing about money was mentioned in the email.
