Additional info & updates

2/4 - Its pretty much decided. Unless something gamechanging happens (significant scholarships at Iowa or OSU... hahahahha) I'll be retaking the LSAT in June and reapplying next fall.

2/1 - Waitlisted at IU. Taking a year off officially on the table and very likely to happen.

1/28 - Rejected via snail mail by ND. Kinda disappointing.

1/26 - Waitlisted via email by Wisconsin

1/15 - Emails from Iowa and Illinois... about 5 minutes from eachother. In at Iowa, out at Illinois. I'm kinda disappointed by the UofI decision, as it is my first rejection... and one of my top choices. No scholly info with the Iowa email, but apparently considerations are being made this week according to TLS?

1/8 - In Review at Illinois.

12/30 - Finally got my scholly info from Kent - 20k a year with a 3.2 GPA, or 12k a year with no GPA stipulation

12/19 - Got an email from a prof at Chicago-Kent congratulating me on my acceptance. No additional info at this time, though I'm sure I'll get something in the mail soon.

12/14 - Received info from DePaul (20k a year and acceptance) and an acceptance from Loyola (Scholarship info in March). Also received a t-shirt from DePaul and a Christmas card from MSU

12/10 - I currently have 3 decisions in the mail, somewhere. DePaul, Wayne State, and Loyola University Chicago. I am dying to hear from one of my top choices, but I just want to hear more. I'm under review right now at UW as of 11/24, according to the status checker... and I hate this waiting game.

12/3 - In at Michigan State via status checker & phone call. 75% tuition scholarship, renewable (waiting on more info on requirements) and 8500 merit based Dean's scholarship for the 1L year. Also expecting a decision from DePaul very soon, as status checker says the decision has been mailed.

11/15 Visited IU's campus this weekend. Loved it. Enjoyed the law school... After my visit, it might be my new number 1. Hopefully I get accepted.

11/12 Status checkers at WUSTL and OSU already. Nice. OSU shows me complete.

11/11 Transcripts went through and fixed finally. Hit submit on most applications just now. I am now terrified.

11/10 My second LoR finally went through. Now my transcripts are messed up on LSAC. This is a fiasco.

11/5 One of my letters of Rec went through (FINALLY!) yesterday. Waiting for the other one to be processed. Hoping to hit submit sometime in the next week for the majority of schools.

10/27 I have received multiple fee waivers. William & Mary, Washington & Lee, Michigan State, Wayne State, Indiana, WUSTL, DePaul, OSU, all of which I will be applying to. Illinois is also doing free applications this year, and is my likely top choice. I've added in a few schools as reaches since I've received so many fee waivers to schools that I was planning on applying to, and am still waiting to hear back from some about a possible fee waiver. Adding Cornell and ND to the mix, even though they're very unlikely, just on the off chance they happen to like a straight out of undergrad white male well below their medians.

LOR forms have been dropped off and should be to LSAC very soon. Transcript is in but in the wrong spot on the website, after talking to LSAC today I have to fax them something telling them to switch it around. Will hopefully be taking care of that tomorrow morning. Hopefully will be going complete by mid-November/Thanksgivingish and will have a decent idea of where I'll be attending come January.

Hey, good luck on the cycle! Congrats on the acceptances (and scholarships) you've received thus far. Hopefully Indiana and Illinois are interested in 164's this year!

Good luck with UIUC! It sounds like you'll know in a week, right? I'm very interested to see what they decide!

Re-take

Good Luck with your June re-take! A few points more may pull you off the WL at either Wisconsin or Illinois - this is a weird application season, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more movement on WL's than usual. In any case, good luck!

Sorry this cycle didn't treat you so hot this year fellow Spartan! I think I'm off to OSU next year with 12k a year, I bet if you boost your LSAT score by one point you can join me next year with a load of dough! You can do it! GO GREEN!

If you aren't attending Loyola can you please withdraw? I'm waitlisted at Loyola and it is my first choice! Thanks :-)
