Im 61 years old and I just want to do Pro Bono work for disabled individuals as well as creditor issues, minor criminal work. Just to stay active, I dont need a job.

I dont need a top school. Im just looking for a blue collar school since I only want to do Pro Bono work. Online would be best for my schedule.

LSAT score.... I dont know if I should retake or not. Im signed up for February just in case.

2/20/20 Accepted to Concordia in Boise which is not one of the schools on this site as well as Touro. Info is in the mail for both.

Letter came from Touro. $11,000 per year scholarship! Im 61 years old, who gives an old man a scholarship? If my gpa stays above 3.15 then it renews for each year of the program so it could come to $44,000 if I do my homework!

I have doubts about getting into Mitchell Hamline. I see everyone else is getting approved but my application is stuck in the In Review status.

2/27/20 In at Mitchell Hamline!

Still no word from Western State, but the status checker says Ill get it in the mail. Im withdrawing that since Im going to go to Mitchell Hamline. Mitchell Hamline has awarded me a 10% scholarship. Im pretty sure I get that for 1. Having a pulse and being vertical and 2. Having charged up San Juan Hill with Teddy Roosevelt. I did get the packet from Concordia and they pieced together a scholarship package of about $27,000 which I was surprised to see. Im 61! Who throws money at an old man with a bad gpa and LSAT score??? Long story short, this adventure is over for me. Ive been accepted at a school that was on my short list so Im going with it. Good luck to everyone else! Doing it at this age is possible, but you really need to shake off the cobwebs in your brain and get back into it.
