Additional info & updates

used to have a profile. not sure where it went. as of right now i am still planning on attending boalt. may take a year off though. will stay on waitlists at Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, NYU, and possibly Penn, UVA, and Duke but $ from Boalt makes that unlikely. also made deposit at UNC to hold scholarship. Harvard, Columbia, and NYU were always my top schools. nice not to be rejected.

Did you misbubble on the Reading Comp? If you did, you can get LSAC to handscore your test. Also, if you were practicing above 170, you might want to apply now and consider taking the February test. Some schools might not have made their decisions by then, and also, it can help get off a waitlist if there\\\'s an improvement.

This site is screwed up right now

Good luck

this cycle. You should get into some great schools. Any chance you'll retake?

Quick turnaround

Yessir. I applied EA to GULC though, so their fast response was kind of expected. Note that the dates I have on the site are when my status went to \\\"Decision\\\" on the website, not when I received the decision itself. With your GPA you should be able to get into Michigan or Virginia without a problem (why on earth do you want to live in Charlottesville over Ann Arbor?)

Hi, I got a letter in the mail from UMich telling me that I was complete. Good luck to you!

NYU sent me an e-mail telling me my application was complete, a decision will be mailed by mid-April, and they "genuinely appreciate" my interest. Super quick turnaround. Some schools haven't even acknowledged receipt in the same timeframe..

Congrats

You mentioned 8 years, are you doing a JD/MBA?

NYU
Monday, January 23 2006 at 07:00 PM

NYU let me know about my completed application via an email they sent to my work account. I went to Cornell also-what sport did you play? What year are you? Congrats on your acceptances so far.

Yeah
Saturday, November 26 2005 at 07:00 PM

Everyone up here is telling me to go to Columbia, but I still want to go to the Admitted students weekends and talk to the students and maybe see a few classes. I don't want to feel like I just chose a school based on rank. Good luck on the rest of your schools.

Yeah, Michigan sent me a letter. Although I had also called them because I'm not very patient.

Does Duke have a seat deposit deadline?? Just curious, thanks!
