Nothing too special about my Undergrad accomplishments.

Finished Undergrad in 2001; Completed MBA in 2004 (3.82GPA, but unfortunately no one on adcom cares);
Worked in Engineering Sales for last 5 years. Also have successful real estate business, volunteer experience (no leadership roles yet, though).

I really like the encouragement that is abundant on this site. Please throw some my way! I am a L-O-N-G shot, but I am so excited about the prospect of a change to something that I would love getting up and doing every day.

I'll be limited to these two schools, because I can't move right now with wife working.

Visited Samford today. Really like it. Library is beautiful.
I'll be starting KAPLAN LSAT Prep 6/25. Taking Test in October.

...Chickened out on Oct. Test, but took Dec. one and put in an average performance. Probably not quite high enough.

2/15: Still waiting....got all my logins from UA and Samford for the status checkers.

3/10: File complete at Cumberland. I hope they like me.

4/16: Forgot to add that I got my acceptance at Cumberland a couple of weeks ago. I'm so excited. Scared though, of the cost and of the scarcity of employment that will probably not be worked out within 3 years.

UA status checker has said "decision made" since last Friday. Judging by the timelines and by my low scores/grades, I am now certain that UA will be sending me a little white envelope. I did make a campus visit down in T-town, sat-in on a Con-Law class, and found it to be just wonderful.

4/16: Dinged at Bama today via little white envelope. Of course, I saw this coming.
