About my profile name --> I expanded my list to the east coast halfway through my application process.

All scholarship information is for the full three years.

12/14 - Decision at LLS via status checker. Going home for the holidays and forwarding my mail so it might be a while before I get the details but (given my numbers) I'm anticipating/hoping for an admit with $$$.

12/15 - Deferred at Cornell. Oh well, at least I'm still in the running. I'll send a LOCI soon.

12/21 - First acceptance!!! BU via phone call :) Waiting on snail mail packet for details/scholarship info (if any).

12/31 - Finally received my LLS acceptance with an $84K scholarship!

01/04 - Received BU packet with $45K!!

01/07 - In at Fordham via status checker and e-mail!

01/20 - Decision Rendered at BC via status checker. Crossing my fingers.

01/22 - Decision Rendered at Santa Clara via status checker. Expecting an admit, hopefully with $$.

01/23 - Bad news: Received a waitlist notification from BC via snail mail. Not sure exactly why, given my numbers, but It's definitely not YP. Good news: Received a $15K scholarship from Fordham via snail mail.

01/28 - Back good news - In at Santa Clara with $11,000 Emery Scholarship (renewable if I maintain "a superior level of performance in law studies")

02/01 - In at UC - Hastings via SMALL ENVELOPE. Oobleck on them for freaking me out, but I'm happy nonetheless! (Also, I received a letter from Santa Clara stipulating top quarter of 1L for renewal of the Emery Scholarship)

02/04 - BOOYA!!! (or should I say HOOYA!!) IN AT UVA! First t14! Via e-mail to phonecall :) VERY excited.
Note: In state - Director of Admissions said it was my personal statement that put me over the top :)

02/04 (Cont.) - A red letter day! IN at Davis, I love those freakin' hippies :) I also got a phone call from a current student at Hastings asking me if I had any questions. They don't give $ for ASD :P

02/06 - Received Davis packet (very well put together), with a $10,000/year Dean's Scholarship!

02/11 - Placed on reserve at Columbia. Expected, but there was that tiny part of me that was hoping :)

02/15 - Under review at Penn date changed to 2/15...I know I've hit the insanity point when I try to read into such minutiae

02/16 - Finally received my packet from UVA (thanks Snowmaggedon!) with personal notes from both Dean Trujillo and Cordel Faulk :) Nice touch guys...along with in-state tuition C'ville is looking tasty.

02/17 - Hello? UCLA? USC? Boalt? ... what is with these Cali schools and their silence?

02/18 - I seem to have avoided today's Berkeley bloodbath. Problem is, still no faculty review e-mail ><

02/25 - *sigh* First rejection...I suppose it was inevitable. I just wish they hadn't strung me along so long! Would've been better not to get any hopes up after avoiding the 18th's bloodbath. Oh well, Cali's not out of the realm of possibilities yet...we'll see!

03/04 - WL at Penn. I prefer UVa anyway, and it's certainly better than a rejection, but it's making me a bit worried about my remaining apps out there. Oh, btw, it was both via e-mail and a status checker update.

03/08 - Sent a LOCI to Penn and withdrew from BC

03/15 - Holy Crap. UVa status checker says "Scholarship Letter" under mailings. I will definitely update when I receive this - could be a game changer.

03/16 - FINALLY under review at USC.

03/19 - WOOT! $10K/year at UVa. In other news, I went to UVa's ASD in Charlottesville, fun times.

03/31 - Dinged by Stanford. Although I always knew it was a long shot, it kind of sucks. I was hoping for at least a waitlist at this point! Hopefully this is the last outright rejection *knocks on wood*

04/12 - Withdrew from schools that I will not attend. Realistically only waiting on USC and UCLA to make my final choice. (Expecting an NYU WL or ding any day now)

04/12 (cont.) - Didn't have to wait long for UCLA :P I'll stay on the waitlist. Really sucks. For personal reasons, UCLA was near the top of my list. Seems the West Coast is just not a big fan of me in general.

04/17 - Received a letter from Cornell letting me know I was put on "reserve," which basically means that they're holding off on making a decision until May. I'll hang on for now, but I'm pretty sure I'm depositing at Virginia (and I'll probably withdraw if I'm put on Cornell's summer wait list).

04/20 - Unless something really unexpected happens (NYU, WL movement), I'm going to Virginia!

04/23 - On the home stretch! (finally) NYU wait list letter received today.

04/27 - Decision Finalized at USC. Almost there!

05/11 - At long last, received a rejection from USC. The University of Spoiled Children can $%# my #$@^ all the way from Charlottesville :)
