Looked up the population numbers at the top schools, and I think you're right about our non-URM status for law school. Still, I think that we're URM in the legal field. I wonder if the status works against us... :/ Oh well. Work hard, buddy. Study for the LSAT by doing practice exams. Forget what study guides suggest unless you absolutely have no idea how to attack a problem. I wish I spent less time taking advice, and more time working the problems.

Seattle's a nice place to live. The scenery is picturesque, especially with the mountains and the lakes all around the University of Washington. One thing I don't especially like is the the rain, but you'll get used to it. The University of Washington campus is beautiful, but the law building doesn't compare to some of the other buildings on campus. You should definitely apply to University of Washington if you're interested in the academic programs. However, I did hear that they accept mostly in-state residents. So good luck!

I don't think University of Washington has a resident cap, but last year's incoming class was 59% Washington state residents. I hope that helped you with your decision!

Congrats on the scholarship/acceptance from U of I. After looking at your profile, it increases my hope that I get a acceptance and a decent offer out of them. You stand a good chance of getting money out Indiana as well. I did, with pretty modest numbers. Anyway, good luck with your cycle!!

The school is gorgeous and I like the emphasis on being a part of a community. All things equal it would be my top choice, but might end up somewhere else due to the high cost. Yea, it was good to hear back from UI. Seems I got the same aid package as you did. Which is nice, but IU-B has spoiled my expectations now. It will be interesting to see what happens at Notre Dame. Really like the school/culture despite having no chance at affording to attend there. Anyway, good luck.

Yea! Number twin! And we have similar schools too. I've applied to BU, BC, Berkeley (total reach but its my dream), and Davis- though my interest in the latter isnt as strong anymore. So that plus American and W&L!!! Perhaps we will be classmates this year, eh? Good luck!!

Yeah, gets me worried too. BC's not my top choice, but I've been trying to look out and see what happens to all my LSN number twins on the big schools. Hmmm... Bad luck. )c: W&M and BU may swing your way. Decisions are such a crapshoot in the final hours, you never know which way they'll go!
