Sent the initial deposit to SMU, go Mustangs!
(04/02/2009)
Rejected from Emory.
(03/02/2009)
$20,000/year from SMU (Dean's Scholarship). Going to make it hard to decide.
(02/21/2009)
Letter from Arizona offering me the Dean's Achievement Scholarship for $14,000 the first year and $12,000 the 2nd and 3rd years, renewable with good academic standing. Also received my UC-Davis admission package.
(02/17/2009) (Update 2)
The UC-Davis status checker updates every day at 6p Pacific (9p Eastern) so I checked it at 9:03pm today like I normally do and was pleased to find that a "Decision has been mailed ->" and a link to my "unofficial" decision letter informing me of my admission to the University of California, Davis School of Law. I'm rather surprised at this considering my GPA is well below that of the other admitted applicants LSN is reporting so far. I was expecting a waitlist. Hurrah!
(02/17/2009)
$6,000/year at Mizzou; still waiting on UC Davis, SMU (scholarship information, hopefully), Colorado waitlist, Emory, maybe hopefully Arizona scholarship information, if that is coming at all. I sure wish they would all let me know where I stand so I can start crunching numbers and other important factors and come to a conclusion!
(01/29/2009)
Phone call from SMU telling me I'm in. :) I am told that my admissions packet will arrive sometime in the mail next week. This is one that I've been eagerly anticipating so I am not looking forward to another week of waiting, but oh well.
(01/20/2009)
Waitlisted at Colorado. Hope to get in sooner than later, doubt I will, what with the number of qualified applicants denied already. Fingers crossed.
(01/12/2009)
Got my "admissions package" from Tulane. $25,000/year! (renewable with 3.0) I'm really happy, most of the other people on LSN have gotten $20,000/year and that's what I was hoping for too so to get the extra $5,000 is a big surprise. Oh, and the environmentally friendly tote bag is an added bonus as well. Ha, ha. :)
(01/08/2009)
Denied at Illinois via status checker. Looks like I am in the first round of people to get denied, so it wasn't a tough decision.
(01/06/2009)
Tulane status checker changes to "Congratulations! You've been admitted!" I've been checking here, as well as UIUC and SMU's status checkers, constantly. Glad to see it is paying off. Also, it says that my acceptance packet was mailed out today...hope it gets here fast!

Two things in the mail after coming back from Christmas.
1: US Priority Mail Pkg from Indiana. Accepted with "$30,000.00 (based on resident status) to be divided equally over your three years of law school." Not sure what this means. I am not what they would classify as an Indiana Resident for Tuition Purposes. It's contingent on earning a 3.2 or better. It also came with a nice little handwritten note, I liked that.
2: Envelope from Arizona, accepted with no word about scholarship money except that they would be making awards on a rolling basis throughout the winter, spring, or summer. I hope they give me some! I need it!
Overall very encouraging news.

Letter in the mail from Miami: $23,000/year merit scholarship renewable with a 3.0 .
(11/21/2008)
2 for 2 on my Tier 2 safety schools. Got the letter in the mail from Mizzou today accepting me, and telling me they'll send another letter later on about financial arrangements and deposit deadlines.
(11/18/2008)
I'm going to law school! Miami sent me an e-mail and supposedly a letter is on the way.
(11/2/2008)
Added three more schools - I would like to be able to call them safety schools but watch me not get accepted into them. I am done with this. Ten schools should be a wide enough net, surely I will get a good deal at one of them!
(10/27/2008)
Sent off my first seven apps: Emory, Indiana, Illinois, SMU, Tulane, Davis, and Colorado.
I think I may be adding more now simply because the nervousness of having the applications out of my hands is starting to set in. I got the LSAC fee waiver for my LSDAS and LSAT registration and all of the schools I have applied to so far have accepted that as sufficient evidence that I am pretty damn poor and should get my fee waived. So since it seems that I am only going to have to pay $12 a shot, I might add some more safeties or reaches depending on my confidence levels.

Law school class of '12!
Hey there.. I guess I'm not absolutely sure but it seems like in previous years the admitted students website has been a sure bet... hopefully I am right and this is happy news? LOL -iwearno5
