I was VERY surprised by the fact that I got auto-rejected from UH. I have no clue why this happened. With regards to SMU, I just stayed on them and told them I was going to do a dual degree and I think that is what put me over the hump for them. If you want my honest opinion I think you are still in good shape and I would wait for just a couple more weeks because I know that SMU's first deadline for seat deposits is April 1, so they will have a better idea of their numbers. And as much as it sucks for me, I think you are OK at UH because you have a 160 and I think they just rejected people below 160, barring extenuating circumstances. I would just wait it out and see what happens, and if you are really concerned call and talk to the counselors and express the fact that you are still interested in both schools. If I had to predict, I would say that you got in to the P/T program at SMU and probably accepted at UH. Good luck.
