I am a little suprised and slightly amused at some of the comments that have been left. I'm honestly not interested in having an affirmative action debate. I created this account as a reference point for other URM's with similiar stats who may be guaging their admissions chances, not as any kind of political statement or lightening rod for debate. I didn't get to choose my diadvantages and I am certainly not going to feel bad about taking advantage of any opportunity life might hand me. Life's just not fair; all anyone can do is try to work hard and acheive to the best of their ability. That's what I'm going to do and what I would encourage anyone reading this to do as well. I'm still undecided at this point and going down to the wire. It's coming down to finances vs. prestige and heart vs. head. Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement and good luck for those still waiting!
