Additional info & updates

I was academically dismissed form a bottom tier law school two years ago. I just really want to be a lawyer. I had some extremely difficult personal problems I could not have predicted while in law school. I have taken much action to prevent that from happening again and wrote an essay about it to all the schools. I also had to explain going from a 154 to a 162 was due to finally getting the problem taken care of.

Some schools are snooty about it and don't want to touch me and will tell me right away on the phone that I would never get in (at least it saves me money) others are extremely considerate and understanding and look at me like any other applicant.

To anyone else on here who was academically dismissed: I hope this helps you realize that being academically dismissed doesn't mean you can't be a lawyer and I hope this helps you figure out where and how to apply. Please feel free to message me for advice if you need help going back somewhere.

Note: I got into more schools and rejected by more than is listed on here. If you e-mail me I will share some more of my results. Best of luck to everyone!!!

Have you had an opportunity to see the school? I'm applying also and was thoroughly impressed.

I'd rather not go there. Although it is a great school I am not so into the area and I got into Marquette!! :)

Hi! Congrats on your acceptances! Cal Western is in a nice location! I live in San Diego so I'm a bit biased. : ) Any word from Chapman? I am starting to think they forgot about me!

Hello. How long after you received acceptance notice from Creighton did you find out about scholarship offers?
