When I applied to UoP originally, I had no desire to go there and live in Sacramento. But they have truly stood out as caring about their students and producing strong lawyers. They have a good reputation among lawyers and I want to get as much as I can out of interning in the capitol. I also like the idea of living in a really nice apartment in Midtown, which is definitely up and coming. I grew up in LA and went to school in the Bay Area and as appealing as SF sounds, I don't like the idea of taking muni or bart everywhere. I don't know what advice I can give you this late in the process, but what I would say is chances are you will be waitlisted somewhere and if you want to go to one of those schools, keep in contact with professors so you can have them write additional recs for those schools to help keep your file open.
