Additional info & updates

-Was accepted to USF, Southwestern, and UOP all in the last week of January.
-UOP Legal Scholar plus scholarship and visit made me consider it. I have continued to be impressed with their communication and recruitment. If I don't get accepted anywhere else, I will probably go to UOP to get exposure to the capitol, have a higher standard of living, and be less in debt after graduation.

-3/20: Waitlisted at Loyola (it looks like most applicatants with over a 155 or 3.4 was waitlisted so I don't know what that means for my chances) and am going to try to get accepted anyway possible.

-4/20: Davis Waitlist. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO POSSIBLY GET IN?! I would love to get accepted to either waitlist school.

-7/19: email from loyola asking for the third time if they are my first choice.

-7/21: overnight admissions package received on my way to look at apartments in Sacramento!

All the frustration and bitterness of this process has cooled and I am so happy to be staying in LA at a great school! I definitely encourage anyone waitlisted to get as many additional recs and info sent to the school until they give you a chance!

We have a very similar group of schools with a similar GPA. Are you think about taking UoP's offer at this point? Have you visited any of the schools? Any tips about the admisssion process? Thx

Thanks!

Thanks for the detailed response. Since I am going to be in Sacramento today, I was going to take a look at McGeorge. Lived here for years, but have yet to see the school. Anyway, good luck on your decision.

What did you think of your visit to UOP?

Hey, it seems that you really like McGeorge as well. Do you plan to wait for your reaches and then go to McGeorge if you don't get in or would you prefer to get off the Loyola waitlist? What's your top choice besides the reaches?
