Additional info & updates

Just got a large envelope from northeastern. Thought it was something important but it was just information about their co-op. Pretty unnecessary at this point.

3/9 Wait listed at Northeastern. Bummer. I feel like that is going to become a trend.

Waitlisted everywhere. Chose Indiana over Case Western, primarily because of the money, don't know if that was a good choice. Looking forward to hearing from Lewis and Clark and Florida State... just want to get this over with before the start of classes.

Temple Law

I have heard both bad and good things about Temple grads getting into the law school. I think your stats give you a good chance, though. Temple was a huge reach school for me, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I sent in my app way back in October, so maybe they're considering me...lol. Temple is by far my top choice because of how great the school is AND how cheap it is. I loved Temple and would love to go back.

Thanks for the comment. Did you apply to the day or the evening program for Temple? We have the same stats and I originally applied to the day program, but they emailed me and asked if I would consider evening for the first year, which is the program I ended up being accepted to. I'm torn though because they didn't offer any money and PSU offered a nice scholarship. Is there any reason why you like Temple so much? Good luck with the rest of your cycle. This has been a tough year!

I think that $36000 is for tuition, books, living expenses, etc. That is a lot, but I think that's definitely overestimated, don't you think?

I am getting a bit impatient with FSU. They are probably my number one choice, but I think I am going to have to call them tomorrow and see if they will tell me what the status is because otherwise I need to pay a seat deposit elsewhere. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

Nope, I am still waiting. Did you get put on the waitlist or did they tell you that? What does your status checker say? Mine has said "Decision made and will arrive by mail" since March 12.

FSU Hold

I called FSU and the woman I spoke with said that my application is on hold. She said that the difference between being on hold and being on the waitlist is that people on hold hear back faster. So, I guess that's good. Maybe.
