Thanks for the congrats. I actually spent over a year studying for the LSAT and it was not easy. I first started going through all the Powerscore Bibles. Then I started taking timed PTs at least twice a week, while taking some timed sections during my off days. I feel timing is so critical for the LSAT. A lot of the time, ppl are so lax when it comes to keeping strict time that it ends up destroying their score on test day. It is very important to simulate test day conditions as much as possible. What really made me make a huge leap though, was a Testmasters Course. It was great, and although I had studied solo for so long, it made me see the answers in new ways that I was easily able to see why most answer choices were correct or incorrect. So invest in a prep course!! Its so worth it. I can send the Yale samples to you, but I have to say they are kinda particular to the BLSA. But I still think you can find some use for them. Good luck on your prep and feel free to contact me for anymore advice. <3

Hey. Thanks for the encouragement. As of right now, I am probably going to take an LSAT next winter, with several months of practice after I graduate. I should be able score much higher that way.

The key to improvement is to practice, practice, practice and familiarize yourself with each kind of game that has ever been thrown out there. Have you gone through the LG Bible? I started out with like -10 on that section, but after reading it, and working through the techniques, my average on LG was -1/-0. After enough practice, LG just clicks and it becomes quite straightforward. Start doing some untimed, but once you see yourself getting better, strictly time yourself and do full sections. There are games that can take up to 10 minutes to complete, but there are also simple games that should only take about 5 minutes. But don't worry, a lot of ppl, including me, think that LG is the easiest to improve upon because all one really needs to do to do well in that section, is practice. Good luck!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it :) We're actually really good friends so please don't think I'm that full of myself. I hope you rock the LSAT in June and end up having a fantastic cycle. Maybe we'll end up being classmates? You are very welcome to my samples and my advice. Let me know if you need anymore of either. Good luck!!!

That's an impressive list of schools! :) I think I am pretty committed to take 2 in the fall, and we will be applying together! I can't wait to see your score!

Thanks for the congrats!! :) I have contacted the admissions office, and am going to plan a visit. They said the do not "interview" WLd candidates but would be happy to meet with me to discuss the WL process and answer any other other questions, as well as add my visit to my file. So .. I'm going! I REALLY hope it works out, I LOVE Vanderbilt!! Emory doesn't look like a bad option either, I just hope they can pull through with a scholarship offer!

Thanks!
