Additional info & updates

* Scholarship amounts are total cost

2/17/2014 - Was updated with a Law Faculty Scholarship from Temple which made my decision much easier. Really excited to be going there in August.

1/14/2014 - Got an email from Villanova with Financial Aid info- got three-year, full-tuition Deans Merit Scholarship and only need to maintain a 2.0, that is very enticing!

12/19/2013 - Yay, got into Temple via email. No word yet on financial aid of any kind- price is lower in-state anyway.

12/10/2013 - Decided to check Drexel's online status checker and realized my acceptance was sent out a WHOLE week ago on 12/3 but was stuck in my spam folder. Got an almost FULL scholarship (Rising Advocate Scholarship) to the brand new 2-year program and I could not be happier. I'm really excited. Plus they will pay for my books for the first 2 semesters. Nice!

12/3/2013 - Got a phone call from Villanova. It was really nice to hear someone's voice welcoming me to the class of 2017. The scholarships wont be coming until January, though.

11/21/13 - First acceptance!! Got into Widener, with a $25k/year scholarship. I think this bodes well for my other schools, since financial aid is most important to me. Happy about such a quick turnaround. Crossing my fingers I'll find out the others in a couple weeks!!

CONGRATS! I applied to Temple and Rutgers as well...anxiously waiting!

I sure hope so. I've been waiting since September for most of these schools. Our list of applications looks almost identical so maybe I'll be putting out some vibes for both of us. You probably will have acceptances across the board with the LSAT score. Great job on that.

You probably would have had a much better shot @ Penn than me. I feel the same way about scholarship money as you but ...... its Penn lol. Even the slighest chance in hell (and its probably less than that) that I may have in getting in I figured I take it :-/ I can dream I guess.

Thank you for info about the rec letter. It finally arrived and I sent all my applications. They are all complete with the schools, but now I am trying to decide if to re-take my lsat in Feb, which would mean calling the schools and notifying them to withhold my applications till then...

Thanks everyone! How is the process going for everyone? Anyone made up their minds yet?

Hey! I was really excited about Drexel's two year program but honestly now that I've received admittances at other schools with more to offer as far as my interests are concerned Drexel is no longer in the game for me. Looks like I will be attending Nova in the Fall. Their offer is great and their Center for Sports Law put them on the top of my list since the very beginning. Best of luck @ Temple!
