I've decided to go against my debt averse consciousness and deposited at UT. I visited Bloomington and felt right at home and it hurt to withdraw from IU-B. If the employment score was better for IU-B I would have definitely gone there.


University of Houston:
App complete since 11/21

Went under review 12/27

Admitted 1/4
Generous scholarship considering I'm in state.

Notre Dame:
App complete date has changed three or four times since I submitted. Latest 1/4.

Visited the law school and fell in love with Austin. My stats are below median, but I think I have a decent chance being a URM and a TX res.

Survived the first two rounds of rejection emails.

Accepted with full ride scholarship. I could not believe it when I read the email. It took a while for it to hit me. It's going to be hard for other schools to sway me from this offer.

A bit of a hail mary here. I was born and raised in Michigan and would love to return back home.

Could u please tell more in detail how you found out about Notre Dame decision? Did they mailed or emailed you? When did the status checker changed etc? Thankyou
