Hey, Definitely applying early. I applied the first day that applications opened. Make sure to also write a DS if you feel that you're diverse in any way. I also tailored my PS and wrote WHY statements to each school. Hope this helps :)

Those are great dilemmas to have Jay. Did you consider negotiating with Berkely and getting them to give you what Cornel gave you? This stuff is better than the movies, I'm always tuning in to see where and how much? Lol
Yea right now I'm in the process of negotiating with Berkeley and UVA to see if I can get more money.
Ahhhh Cornell.... I guess Berkeley would budge :( Cornell is great anyway, it's my 4th choice and I can see myself going there in 2014. Let us know how the first year goes. Best wishes.
