Here's the news!

10/23/08 - Application submitted for University of Arkansas Fayetteville .

11/17/08 - Application FINALLY submitted to University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I held off on submitting this one until I had a chance to visit their campus for pre-law visitation day on the 14th.

11/19/2008 - I finally received the non-index admission letter from UofA Fayetteville. I knew I would get one so it was annoying to have to wait almost a month before I could start working on my Personal Statement for them.

11/25/2008 - It's been 8 days since I sent the UALR application via LSAC so I decided to give them a call to make sure they had everything they needed. They said they have not received the application from LSAC yet, but 15 minutes after the phone call they sent me an email saying it had just arrived in the mail.

12/18/2008 - Accepted at UALR. It came in a medium/large yellow envelope today! This is my #1, so I am done. I will probably not complete my application to Fayetteville.

12/19/2008 - Offered a $4,500 scholarship. It will be split between the 90 credits.

Yes, the 36k is 12k/year contigent upon keeping a 3.0 throughout.

I sent each of them out the first day the school accepted them, so most went in September 1, which is making me nervous since I haven't heard back from many yet...

Congrats on UALR. I am interested to know why you favor UALR over U of A (I went to UALR for a yr. in undergrad and am certainly not putting it down, and pending acceptance still strongly considering coming back to LR)

Does UALR have any affiliation with Fayetville, other than both being public schools in Arkansas? Is it like U Indiana-Indy and Bloomington where both are considered the same school (with the same mascot), or is it like UCLA and Berkley where they are both Univ of California, but completely separate entities? Thanks
