Did UCLA and USC contact you by email? Good luck on the rest of your cycle

UCLA contacted me by email, however, USCs status checker changed to decision rendered then a couple days later I received a rejection letter in the mail.

Congrads on Pepperdine. Many suggestions on how to get off the waitlist

The day after I found out I was waitlisted I sent in a LOCI stating why I wanted to go to pepperdine, mentioned updated info about myself since I applied and also attached an updated resume. I sent all of this material by mail. Then two weeks after I sent the material I called to make sure they received my LOCI and resume. Also I asked a couple questions to show how interested I was. Also in my LOCI I stated how grateful I was to be added to the wait list and if accepted I would guarantee them I would attend pepperdine. This week I was going to send another letter of recommendation but luckily I did not have to. Hope this helps and good luck. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Please withdraw your application from Pepperdine if you're planning on attending another school! A lot of us that are on the waitlist are counting on people like you who might commit to another school to withdraw! Thank you!

Unfortunately for you I have already accepted my offer as of right now. And if I do withdraw it would have to be what is best for me and my career path, not merely because of someone else. I have had to wait on these schools just like the rest of you and it is hard to see others get accepted, however, I found the longer I waited the more I appreciated the acceptance.

We have the same LSAT score! Still waiting on SCU and pepp. How were your personal statements?

I would say my personal statement was decent, it was not bad, but I wouldn't say it was the best either. When did you apply to those schools, it took a very long time for me to hear from Santa Clara. If you don't mind me asking how's your gpa. I believe that is what helped me be accepted.

Thanks for the prompt reply! My GPA is 3.35 from a top ten public university. I hope these two schools look beyond my LSAT and consider my LOR, PS, and rigor of coursework..keeping my fingers crossed..I am just hoping for a miracle and I thought I'd converse with you because we have identical LSAT scores..

Also, did you apply to the PT or FT program?

Oh well that is a decent GPA I'm sure you will at least be waitlisted at pepperdine and most likely accepted at Santa Clara. If you are waitlisted just make sure your on top if updating your resume, and lors and a LOCI. And I applied to the FT programs. Hope thus helps and hopefully you get in to pepperdine and we could me classmates:)!
