Our choices are fairly similar and I am down to a numbers game in my decision process. It's going to be about where it's the cheapest to go to school. I am on a mission to graduate with under $50,000 in debt. So with your choices, I'd say go for the state school, Cleveland, unless you can get a better financial aid package elsewhere. I don't think Toledo has a better program, but I know they have a higher cost. Same with Michigan, they aren't ranked any higher, but you'd being paying out-of-state (it's a state school, right?). Then again, if Case comes through, you may want to consider it because of it's ranking... but if you know you are going to stay in the Ohio area, a diploma from Cleveland will get you a fine job. That's the way I'm looking at it. I really wanted to go out-of-state, but I can't justify a private school education, just because I want to live in New York. Hopefully, my responsible decisions now will reap less damaging financial debt in the future.
How the heck did you pull off a full scholarship?!?
how long was your application deferred at Akron and when did they notify you of your scholarship? Thanks.
From the look of things, do you have an idea of where you are going next year?
