Additional info & updates

4/27/09 - Double rejections from Fordham and BU wrap up my cycle. BU is to be expected but I'm surprised by Fordham. Thought I would get a waitlist there based on the graph. Oh well...I'm pretty set on Tulane.

4/7/09 - All geared up for my Tulane Law ASD. Booked a four night stay in the Hilton for $60 / night. Looking forward to that.

4/6/09 - Waitlisted at Washington University in St. Louis and Notre Dame. Glad to see that both of those were W/Ls and not rejections. Boy oh boy I have a lot of waitlists. I'm even waislisted at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (which isn't reflected on here). Long story about that...but basically I'd been waivering between JD and MBA last year. Applied early for MBA programs and have been languishing on UVAs waitlist for awhile.

4/2/09 - Got the big nay from Georgetown. No surprises there, though in my heart of hearts I kind of thought they might throw me a part-time bone.

3/26/09 - Waitlisted at UC Hastings by email. Wow, that's pretty emo. I'm heading down to Tulane on the 17th of April to check it out. If I like it as much as I think that I will, I'm going to ring the cash register with them. Getting off the waitlist at Hastings might change my mind, but probably not.

3/23/09 - So, I'm in at Tulane Law with the Dean's Scholarship and the Teach for America scholarship totalling $23,500 per year. That's a pretty nice chunk of change. I was rejected at Emory. Looks like a 164 would have been the magic number to get me in. Ah well.

Berkeley graduate. Teach for America corps member. Will have a Masters of Education when I enter law school. Well, after six months of studying for my second go at the LSAT, I got another 163. Looks like I'll apply widely to some top 50 schools and see where the chips fall.

hi there... haha thank you, you're a doll, i wish you could mail them and say... give my seat to x candidate. if only... So between American and Tulane where are you leaning towards. That scholarship is pretty fantastic and Tulane is a phenomenal school. I have quite a few friends there, they love it. It's definitely a different atmosphere to NorCal.
