whats your undegrad school? you living in cali and all what can you tell me about san diego? i know that davis is a lot better school than usd but i really don't want to live outside sacramento. location is probably more important to me than it should be, but i want to end up practicing in san diego and ALL of the major law firms in the city go to USD and a couple don't go to davis so it makes me think....

Congrats

Way to go with Pacific and USF! I visited USF and loved it. I applied to all of the schools that you did, so a good chance we'll be at the same place......what's on top of your short list right now?

Davis has to be a consideration just for its ranking. But man, I can't see ANY that I would go there. Outside of the situation, of course, that it's the only school I get into. I haven't been to Davis in a while, and I've never been to the law school, but I haven't heard great things about its location. Especially when compared to the other locations that will be competing - San Francisco, Malibu, San Diego - I mean, c'mon!...forget about it! (used in the Goodfella sense, haha). If you don't mind me asking, that $16,500 from USF, is that per year, or spread out over 3?

Thanks!

Thank you for the congrats! I'm still debating whether I'd rather go to Hastings or Davis, but I have yet to hear from Davis anyway. I saw Hastings on webadvisor, so it's at least working sometimes. Haven't even seen a physical letter yet, should be soon though.

Congratulations!

Congratulations on Hastings! I'm leaning towards there, though I just got admitted to Davis too. It's a tough call, since I want to do Patent law, but it would be awfully fun being in downtown SF. I'm visiting them at the end of the month, that and aid will help me decide for sure. I hope to be your classmate!
