Extra Curricular Information

After undergrad, I spent 6 years teaching in the city of Chicago at an elementary school and a high school. The high school was founded by myself and my colleagues and we are currently close to graduating our founding class.

Scholarship amounts are in total over three years.

ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

UIC John Marshall's scholarship, although generous, was conditional. Considering DePaul's scholarship, I have withdrawn my app from John Marshall.
I decided to withdraw my app from Michigan and St. Louis as well, due to the distance from family and friends.

2/19 I was placed on the wait-list for IU Bloomington! This is my top choice, but I will ultimately need to strongly consider scholarships/my finances when making a final decision.

4/11 When doing the math, University of Cincinnati is actually considerably MORE affordable than other schools Ive received full tuition scholarships for. Cincinnati has very few fees and their KY metro rate tuition is only $24,610 per year. Im excited to be moving and attending this fall!

5/1 Chicago Kent emailed an increased scholarship of $35,000 a year, despite my decline of their offer. I'm considering it.

Hi there, I got a 158 with a 3.3(ish) gpa and am trying to go to john marshall with a full ride. Your scores are similar to mine so I was wondering what they offered you exactly. Thanks
