Additional info & updates

I applied late in the application race. Most of my apps were sent around January 31st. My file did not complete until February 28th. At least the first letter wasn't a rejection. I remain hopeful however the wait is causing alot of anxiety.

Univ of Oklahoma-waitlist letter dated 3/21/05 received
3/25/05

Half Scholarship at Villanova 13,000 renewable

Deans Scholar at Miami 16,000 renewable

Cincinnati 14,000, 7,000 renewable after the first year.

Santa Clara 18,000 Law Faculty Scholarship renewable.

Howard 10,000 Merit Scholarship renewable.

Waitlisted at WF then an offer of admission by phone. No scholarship money from them. Stated that I applied late and the tone of the conversation suggested that "I should be happy to have gotten in"

OK, got the letter from Minnesota today. First off, Fuck them. Why wait so long to send a letter to reject someone. 3 months. OMG. OMFG. Well, thats cool. I guess I will be heading to either Miami or Rutgers depending on scholarship info from Rutgers.

Wow. Rutgers can really kiss my ass. They offered me a really fucked up scholarship package that only included 4k for the first year. It is ok though. It eases my decision making process.

Hi Mediocrity... Congrats on your acceptances and scholarship offers so far. It looks like you have some great options! For applying late as you mention, you are doing quite well. I have the same index number as you on Nova and I am still waiting to hear from them and I am pretty close to your index number on Santa Clara, but I think they lost my app...they've had it since October and haven't gotten back to me! Oh well...good luck with everything!
