Additional info & updates

All scholarships are listed in yearly $$$.

As of 11/10, all applications are in.

12/9 - Wyoming changed from 'Second Stage of Review' to 'Admitted'. I am expecting scholarship amounts and more details in the mail soon.

12/15 - Looks like Gonzaga made a decision and sent it in the mail. Should get it in the next couple of days.

12/15 - Willamette called and offered me acceptance. Letter in the mail will come in the next week. $24,000 a year.

12/15 - Idaho called and offered me acceptance. Busy day! They offered me in-state tuition for the first year plus $4,000 and then a $2,000 a year scholarship for the last 2 years.

12/18 - Received an email from Denver offering me the 2/3 Provost's Scholarship for $28,000 a year.

12/18 - Received admission packet from Gonzaga. They offered me acceptance and $22,000 conditional on a 2.75 GPA.

2/3 - Received email from Denver upping my scholarship to $30,000 per year with a 3.0 GPA

2/3 - Received admission envelope from Wyoming. Awarded $7,500 yearly scholarship with 2.0 GPA.

2/12 - Accepted to UNLV. Offered $9,075 for the first year and then a 1/4 tuition scholarship for the last 2 years while in the top 50%.

3/7 - I received a generous offer from Willamette upping my scholarship from $24,000/year to $30,000/year.

3/20 - I spoke with Wyoming and they offered me another $2,000/year. That really makes them a much more affordable option, especially with in-state tuition 2L and 3L years.

3/29 - Got a letter from Utah denying me. I thought that I would at least by waitlisted. Oh well...

Hey there, any news on a scholarship at Wyoming? Our numbers are similar, thank you and congratulations!

No news yet, I called them back in December and they mentioned that they send out packets sometime in January, so it should be any time now.

Congrats on UNLV? How did you hear from them? Are you Nevada resident? Sorry for the overload of questions, but we've got similar numbers and I'm anxious to hear from them.

Congrats! I was wondering how long your application was in review for at the University of Denver? Did you apply for the Provost scholarship?

Sunday, November 02 2014 at 11:24 PM

Saysomethingsav, I was in review just under 2 weeks at Denver. But I had my application in pretty early, too. I didn't apply specifically for the Provost, they just awarded it to me when I was admitted. Good luck!
