**Scholarship amounts are three year totals!**

11/14/11: In at William and Mary via e-mail and confirmation e-mail I sent back because my status checker under Mailings had 11/14/11 date but no description on what was sent. I'm truly shocked about this one, I only applied because of a fee waiver and had no expectations about getting in! This is one I may not pass up!

11/15/11: In at UMiami via e-mail and update on my CaneID site.

11/23/11: In at Stetson via e-mail. A low-low safety school, I wasn't too confident when I applied to schools I guess.

11/29/11: In a Ohio State via phone call! Financial aid information to come in February-ish! Another exciting acceptance! Definitely will need money to consider this 45,000/year school!

12/7/11: In at FSU via phone call! First public Florida law school acceptance! With W&M and OSU's high tuition I need an affordable alternative in-state!
-Status checker changed this morning to: Decision Reached and Will Arrive by Mail for anyone checking their status.

12/7/11: In at Penn State via e-mail. Safety school to the max, but it's still nice to have such a great cycle so far, praying it continues!

12/8/11: In at LSU via an email that began Dear (insert students name), which is a big turn off to me.

12/12/11: Submitted an LSAT addendum to UF law to ask them to consider weighing my second LSAT score more heavily than my first (I got a 154 the first time I sat for the test :( ).
-Hopefully this will earn me some extra points in their admissions process!

12/14/11: In at Louisville, not a contender but I kept my applications in even once my new score came in just to see which ones I get into.

12/19/11: Dean's Merit Scholarship from Miami (25,000) renewable for three years with a 3.2 or top 1/3 of class.

12/22/11: Applied to Emory, decided to take a chance and see what happens. Definitely late but better than never, especially considering no decisions have been rendered yet. Had a fee waiver.

1/1/12: 1/2 scholarship in the mail for Stetson University.
Got a t-shirt in the mail for FSU law today too.

1/9/12: UF status update to Final Decision Reached, Notice Issued!!!! Dated today, well we will see soon!

1/13/12: Got Accepted to UF, Pitt with money, and got my acceptance package from PSU with money! Great day overall, especially for friday the 13th!

1/16/12: Got a call from Case Western and was admitted. Up for a scholarship, will get a call in a couple weeks.

1/27/12: In at Wake Forest via e-mail. said scholarships will be awarded later...
-Withdrawing from schools today: Stetson, Baylor (after ZERO movement and a crappy quarter program they have), Georgia State, and LSU.

2/28/12: 7,000/year scholarship from Ohio State.

3/2/12: going to visit William and Mary on the 6th! Really excited!
Also withdrew from FSU, although its my alma mater, I have better in-state and out of state options.

3/15/12: Got a $5000 non-renewable grant from UF.

3/16/12: checked myWM account and saw a William and Mary scholarship listed for 10,000/year! yay!

3/20/12: Waitlisted at Emory, surprising considering that I applied in December, have a 160, and they moved up in the rankings.

Are you considering U.M?

Congratulations to you too! I am looking to stay in the New York area so I can commute from home. It really lowers the costs, especially if I get a scholarship. When did you send your applications out?

Congrats!

Congrats on your acceptances. So far I have been accepted to FSU and UM. Your acceptances are impressive. Where do you want to end up?

Thursday, July 07 2011 at 08:00 PM

I actually really want UF or FSU. Tuition is cheap and my whole family is here in Florida. But I applied to a few out of state schools (South Carolina, Wake, and Indiana Bloomington) so we shall see. It's nice to see a fellow Floridian with numbers so close to mine!

I'm not sure if I would pick FSU over UF or vice versa. FSU is better location wise but you can't beat UF's reputation.

You too! I see you applied to Wake Forest. Just an FYI, I got accepted today, so you should be hearing something soon if you hadn't already. And with your GPA, you'll get at least the 12k a year that I got!

Congrats!

On William and Mary. I recommend you accept the offer. Of all the schools you applied to, WM will provide you with the best employment options...

What did you think of W&M?

Congrats!

Congrats on the WM scholarship!! If you don't mind me asking, how much will tuition cost you each year with the scholarship?

I see you've chosen WM.
