Additional info & updates

2/9/2012: Accepted at Brooklyn and waitlisted at Cardozo via e-mail (received the large Brooklyn envelope in the mail yesterday). Love the idea of NYC for three years, but tuition and cost of living is incredibly expensive, and for these two schools, potentially not worth my investment. One more school left to hear from!

1/24/2012: Waitlisted at BC via e-mail - still in shock! I was sure that since GWU rejected me PT, I would have absolutely no chance at BC (their numbers are so similar). Sent in my response to stay on their waitlist (they ask you to respond w/in 2 weeks or they automatically remove you). I doubt I'll get in because there are LSN applicants with much higher numbers than mine who are also waitlisted (even though waitlist is unranked).

1/14/2012: Accepted to Syracuse via large Fedex envelope - they even sent a t-shirt (a few sizes too large)! Still waiting on 4 more schools, although the fact I have not heard yet makes me wary that it will be good news.

12/15/2011: Rejected from GMU via e-mail. I thought I would have been waitlisted... Clicking on those e-mails really gives you no indication of where you stand until you see the "Congratulations!" (or lack of) on the first line. Received a $10,000/year scholarship for Northeastern in the mail and a reminder to submit my PI scholarship application. 5 more schools to go!

12/9/2011: Accepted to Catholic via e-mail with a $10,500 Faculty Fellowship, renewable every year if I remain in "good standing." Need to call them to ask exactly what that entails, but money is always good! Rejected from GWU, as expected. I didn't have high hopes of getting in. Read the e-mail too quickly and thought it was George Mason that was rejecting me...that knocked the breath out of me! I learned my lesson - read carefully!!

12/7/2011: Accepted to Northeastern yesterday via e-mail directing me to status checker (and got a voicemail from a current NU student congratulating me and asking for questions). Accepted to American last Friday, and received letter (small envelope) in the mail on Monday. Looking at my current acceptances, only American is a serious contender (I would consider Northeastern/Suffolk if there was money attached). Thankful to not be rejected yet, but bracing myself for the rejections that are inevitably going to ring in the new year...

11/17/2011: Waitlisted at W&L. Happy to not get a rejection (as other applicants on LSN have been with my numbers), so hopeful. Waitlist not ranked, and will sign up for a phone interview.

11/14/2011: Accepted at Suffolk via mail (small envelope, almost threw it out because it was mixed in with the junk mail)! Nice to be in somewhere, even if it is a safety. Hopefully, they will provide some merit aid. Happy to have my cycle not start off with a rejection!

11/3/2011: All applications submitted, except for BU, where I'm doubting if I should even apply because it seems I have absolutely no chance with my numbers. Received status checkers from American, Brooklyn, Cardozo, GWU, W&M, and W&L (where file already complete!) Let the waiting game begin.

11/2/2011: Submitted 4 applications. CUA sent status checker via e-mail (they manually check off they receive your transcript from LSAC, so don't be alarmed if it shows that they don't have your transcript)

That's really, really comforting as I'm not URM either...And I see you got a scholarship too? With your numbers (no offense...obviously), you've got to be pretty special! Did you happen to apply to a dual degree program or something? Congrats again!
