TO HELP THOSE LOOKING TO TRANSFER!!

I finished my first year at nova in the top 15 percent, and decided to transfer. I applied to American (and was accepted EA, ranked top 5% after 1 semester), FSU, Georgetown, and GW. I was deferred and then denied from Georgetown and GW, but was accepted FSU and am starting soon. There are a few people with 1L numbers a bit lower than mine that were also accepted to FSU. Hope this helps anyone thinking about transferring. BUT try to minimize how much you think about transferring. I focused too much on it after having awesome 1st semester grades, and it caused me to drop just a bit second semester. Good Luck!

NOW ONTO MY REGULAR Law School Admission Cycle:

Intro: I am trying to document as much as possible now to help people with my numbers, since I felt that this "splitter" level was lacking on this site. I took the LSAT 3 times and could not retake again, but if you can, I recommend it because in the end, it will be easier to do better than Law School. Its sucks for me because I was practicing in the 159 to 162 range consistently for my final try, with a high of 167, and still bombed come test day. Hopefully this helps those in the future, and for those it does, keep track of your cycles for other applicants in the future. Alright then!

Alright, All TTTT and TTT Apps are Sent. Waiting on Dec. LSAT for rest of Schools. Let my new LSAT be 160 please!!!

Accepted to Nova!! I was originally put oh hold with the school, my hold lsat was at the 75th percent. My new LSAT is above it! I decided to send a LOCI via snail mail, 1 week ago and was accepted today. Status went directly from ON HOLD to DECISION MADE on the status checker. LOCI FTW.

Accepted via e-mail to Charlotte with a 20000 scholly. I had marked the C&F boxes incorrect on the application, they put it on hold and I sent a letter in my e-mail clearing up that I had no issues. Was accepted 4 days later so I don't think the mishap hurt my chance at all. 4 for 4

Accepted at St. Thomas FL via status checker. I think I went into review yesterday so that was quick.
Date for NESL status changed, but nothing else: I wonder what that means?

Got a call from the Dean at Western New England. Missed it but I'm guessing this means I got in!...

Decision reached on Status Checker for New England Law Boston. I also think I got in here because the fees for seat deposits were added along with due dates.

Rejected via e-mail by Stetson today. First Ding of the cycle and it hurts a bit because this one would have put me close to family, but was somewhat expected. Now the wait for FIU and the U really begin!!

Checked MyUM site this morning and was rejected from Miami. Letter was written in an annoying language, but it was a longshot anyways. So Now just waiting on FIU and then I will be able to narrow down choices and begin scholarship negotiations.
