Edited my profile to reflect the schools I applied to and deleted the one's I decided against. I came to decide that I don't want to apply to most t14 schools other than Cornell, GULC, NU and Umich. I don't think I stand a chance, and would rather save those app as a transfer next year, if that ends up happening. I am still hopefull for NU since I am applying to their AJD prog and have a good reflection of what their looking for in regards to WE and GPA. Hopefuly a good app will help my low LSAT.

First rejection from UMin over email. Although kind of sad, it was never a school I really desired to go to and I applied there as an option and since I did not spend money on the app fee. I do believe however that I will receive rejections along these lines from other schools in similar ranking since even with a URM 'boost' my LSAT is still very low. Well, onward and upwards. Let's see how it continues...

Added an app to Pitt. After getting more info from them via snail mail and reading about job prospects of Pitt grads in Pittsburg I decided to go ahead and send them an app as a safe(r) choice.

First admit of the cycle to W&L!! Very very happy as I considered it a reach. Still don't know anything about the offer but this is definitely a happy day!

Accepted at American!

Rejected from ND. Oh well. It is what it is. I never felt it was a good fit for me. Hoping for a lot of movement this week!

Additional info & updates

Non Trad older student, 8 years of WE prior to starting undergrad.

Since I received an LSAC fee waiver I decided to go all out and blanket schools from every part of the ranking, from top to bottom. After spending much time on LSN I saw that you really can't know how things will play out. I believe I am a pretty unique applicant and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to craft a good application that will carry me. I know LS is largely a numbers game, which is why there are schools here from across the board. That said, declining numbers both in LSAT test takers and applications is a good sign overall, IMHO.

Special application for NU, Umich and Cardozo: I am applying to NU's AJD program and to Umich's & Cardozo's summer start

I welcome amy comment from others who are or have been in a similar situation, and let's have an incredible cycle!

P.S: I cannot take the LSAT again until Dec13, and as of now I am not looking to wait a cycle out, so the common TLS "RETAKE" comments won't help in this case.

Good luck with your cycle. I'm applying to Northwestern AJD hoping my Masters degree and work experience will help me out.

I feel like Im on a rollercoasrer ride :) I know my chances for the higher ranked schools are slim to none but I decided to just go ahead and give it a shot. I'm thrilled about the W&L acceptance though.

Hey, congrats on a great cycle. I'm glad you applied to more top schools. And don't let the "retakes" get to you, man. I am in the same boat with the epic LSAT bomb. I pray G-town, Cornell, and Vandy find favor with you!
