Additional info & updates

I took the part-time route since my LSAT score is not in the range of my target schools' full time programs. My goal is to limit debt, so I am applying to mostly state schools. I have built some connections in the Philadelphia region, so my preference is to remain in that region. My goal is to eventually get into D.C., so I applied to some schools in that region, as well.

1/10/11: I took a chance on Minnesota. They offered a chance to write a detailed personal statement, and I have a good story. I got a fee waiver, so it's only a $12 investment.

1/21/11: I was very surprised by the quick acceptance to Rutgers-Camden. Their 3-week turnaround time has alleviated my stress during my cycle.

2/1/11: Accepted to Rutgers-Newark via email. I am hoping to get a few dollars in the physical acceptance package they plan to send out in "one or two days."

2/7/11: Accepted to Temple via online status checker. This will likely be my choice of law school.

Thanks, you're right Temple would be difficult to pass up. I actually heard that the philly legal market is pretty tight right now, but hopefully will be better by the time we graduate. Good luck on your cycle, why didn't you apply to American?

American was too much money.
