Additional info & updates

***I would love to talk to others with similar choices to make!***
I am having a tough time deciding on T60 $$$ vs. T30 $ vs. T14 sticker (maybe). Weighing scholly money vs. prestige & debt.
I am interested in public interest law or environmental justice/policy, and am flexible with where I want to live in the future, as long as it's NYC, DC, Philly, SF, or Seattle.

scholarships noted above reflect approx. amount over 3 years

-non-URM, submitted no diversity or optional essays
-applied the last week of December, generally

3/22: Attended BLS asd today, and attended Temple's on Saturday. Impressed with both schools, but how can you not be? They know how to present themselves. I walked out of both events feeling excited about the school and that I would do well there... but then I wonder if it would be a mistake to go to a T60 school when I can go to a T30 school? Wonder if there really is a difference in quality of education/experience and P.I. career opportunities...

3/23: Interviewed for GULC. Went well. Hoping my alum interviewer can persuade admissions!

3/27 fordham admitted student's day today... good stuff

3/29 wasn't really considering GW... until today... I found a merit scholarship letter they sent me in January!!!! it was here the whole time!! can't believe I overlooked it. ANYWAY, $30K a year as long as I maintain a 3.0. PLUS free housing & utilities the first year!!! HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME!!!!

Hey. PM me on TLS (same name) and I would be glad to discuss options with you. If you aren't on there, you should get on there. Lots of good info (lots of bad info too).

Fordham vs. GW

Howdy! My decision for Fordham over GW was simple: money and location. I'm a New Yorker and I think I ultimately want to practice in NYC. I applied to so many schools b/c I was hoping for a lot of money from one of them, but Fordham's merit/need-based aid came through for me. Since I think I want to be in NYC long term, I withdrew from any school that would be equally or more expensive, or in a less desirable placing location. Once I visit Notre Dame I'll make a final decision. GOOD LUCK!

I'm also having a rough time deciding between Fordham and another school. I live in NY and want to work here too. Have you decided yet?
