Unique background. I have three very good letters of rec. We'll see what happens.

Unless Pitt accepts me I'll be at Case in the fall. If I get in to Pitt I will probably visit and decide then. I visited Case in November and really loved it.

1/21/09 - Accepted at Marquette. Small envelope sent to my college address. It feels great to know that I'll be going to law school.

2/22/09 - Waitlisted at IU-I. Small envelope sent to my college address. It was the school I was least likely to attend, and since I'm already in at Marquette I emailed them right away and withdrew.

3/02/09 - Rejected at IU-B. Small envelope sent to my college address. Not a surprise, it was a reach.

3/02/09 - Accepted at Syracuse with a 26K per year scholarship. Big package sent to my college address. Really excited about the scholarship offer.

3/09/09 - Waitlisted at Penn State. Small envelope sent to my college address. I'm really surprised and dissapointed that I was waitlisted. I'm going to stay on the waitlist until May 1st.

3/11/09 - Withdrew from Marquette, I'm not willing to pay full price when I can pay a lot less for Syracuse.

3/18/09- Waitlisted at Pitt. Email. I'll be willing to stay on the waitlist well in to the summer if I have to. Applying at the end of December is a killer it seems.

3/27/09 - Rejected at Wisconsin. Email. It was my top choice, but I knew the chances were slim.

4/14/09 - Accepted at Case Western. I emailed and asked if they would have a decision soon. I recieved an email notifying me that I have been accepted.

4/14/09 - Withdrew from Syracuse, Case is a better deal even at full price.

4/17/09 - Withdrew from Penn State. I would have really loved to attend, but not at full price and I wasn't happy that they waitlisted me. I thought I would be in for sure. Now it's down to Case and Pitt.

4/24/09 - Sent in non-binding seat deposit to Case. I will attend Pitt if I am accepted of the waitlist, even if it's not until August.

8/6/09 - Got a phone call from Pitt Law this morning, I'm in off the waitlist, now what to do?

8/7/09 - I withdrew from Case and I will be attending Pitt Law this fall. What a long and crazy cycle this has been!

I applied to the University College campus- I'm from PA and not into the smalltown vibe of Carlise. I was actually pretty surprised at the quick response. I sent all my apps in January. How about you- what campus?

That's weird. I went complete Feb 3 and got my email Feb 16. Who knows what goes through these admissions peoples' minds! Good luck though, I'm sure you'll hear soon!

I received an email from Pitt notifying me I had been waitlisted. It said 10-25% of those on the wait list get in. Best of luck to you.
